Introduction It is crucial to understand the environmental friendly behavior of tourists. The utilization natural resources by tourists poses a significant threat sustainability. Fostering practices within tourism industry will help protect future generation. current study evaluate influence values, ascribed responsibility, concern and personal norms on customers’ intention visit green hotels. Furthermore, it assess mediating effect via responsibility concern. Methods collected data from Data 347 customers through questionnaire survey method. Partial least square-structural equation model (PLS-SEM) was employed for analysis data. Results discussion findings indicate that values are factors affecting Environmental direct impact insignificant. However, significantly affect hotels indicating full norms.

ABSTRACT Extensive efforts by both government and private sectors to make the use of recycled packaging in food products more prevalent have not always been successful, partly due a limited understanding consumers' complex perceptions towards this practice. In research, we explore whether product enhances appeal products, as well boundary condition underlying mechanism effect. Using three experimental studies, find that marketing highlighting can be beneficial, but only for utilitarian hedonic ones. We also identify warm‐glow effect key mediating mechanism. This study uniquely contributes literature examining differential effects identifying Our findings contribute nuanced perspective on sustainable consumption provide practical implications enhancing effectiveness packaging.

Purpose This paper aims to examine the waste sorting practices of Lithuanian students and integrate influence green university initiatives (GUIs) environmental self-identity (ESI) into theoretical framework theory planned behavior (TPB). Furthermore, it examines potential impact gender on waste-sorting behavior. Design/methodology/approach Data were collected from 255 using a standardized questionnaire. Convergent discriminant validity analyses handled ensure reliability, hypothetical relationships evaluated structural equation modeling. Findings study confirms GUIs significantly encourage students’ ESI positively their attitudes, subjective norms perceived behavioral control in sorting. In addition, also affects attitude, control. The features differences, with female showing stronger associations between intentions, reflecting increased awareness social that sustainable Although did not induce results highlight essential role progressing ecological practices. Originality/value groundbreaking combines GUIs, TPB separation It fills noticeable literature gap provides new insights how universities’ suggests actionable strategies promote campus cultures gender-sensitive programs.

Abstract This study explores the effects of perceived situational factors (cost, time, and effort) related to plastic packaging waste recycling behavior. It also examines mediating role environmental attitudes in this relationship. An online questionnaire-based survey administered a pan-Canadian sample 1000 respondents reveals that from an aggregate perspective, positively directly impact recycling. Because attitude is recycling, partially mediate link between From piecemeal perception higher degree inexpensiveness, fastness, effortlessness affects Hence, mediates effect consumers' explains their on

Packaging constitutes the largest end-use market for plastics, accounting approximately 40% of total consumption by sector. In 2021, average plastic packaging waste generated per European Union (EU) resident was 35.9 kg, which 14.2 or around 40%, recycled. The Directive on and Waste (94/62/EC), a pivotal environmental regulation, mandates specific recycling targets: minimum 50% all must be recycled 2025, increasing to at least 55% 2030. These targets underscore necessity further advancements in composite This review uses PESTEL analysis provide comprehensive overview six critical factors influencing waste. framework encompasses political, economic, socio-cultural (social), technological, environmental, legal dimensions. underscores key aspects each factor that influences recycling.
