Microbial plant biostimulants offer a promising, sustainable solution for enhancing growth and resilience, particularly under abiotic stress conditions such as drought, salinity, extreme temperatures, heavy metal toxicity. These biostimulants, including growth-promoting rhizobacteria, mycorrhizal fungi, nitrogen-fixing bacteria, enhance tolerance through mechanisms phytohormone production, nutrient solubilization, osmotic adjustment, antioxidant enzyme activation. Advances in genomics, metagenomics, transcriptomics, proteomics have significantly expanded our understanding of plant-microbe molecular communication the rhizosphere, revealing underlying these interactions that promote resilience. However, challenges inconsistent field performance, knowledge gaps stress-related signaling, regulatory hurdles continue to limit broader biostimulant adoption. Despite challenges, microbial hold significant potential advancing agricultural sustainability, amid climate change-induced stresses. Future studies innovation, Clustered Regularly Interspaced Short Palindromic Repeats other editing tools, should optimize formulations their application diverse agro-ecological systems. This review aims underscore current advances, future directions field, advocating multidisciplinary approach fully harness modern agriculture.

Cotton is a vital fiber crop for the global textile industry, but rising temperatures due to climate change threaten its growth, quality and yields. Heat stress disrupts key physiological biochemical processes, affecting carbohydrate metabolism, hormone signaling, calcium gene regulation expression. This review article explores cotton's defense mechanism against heat stress, including epigenetic regulations transgenic approaches, with focus on genome editing tools. Given limitations of traditional breeding, advanced omics technologies such as GWAS, transcriptomics, proteomics, ionomics, metabolomics, phenomics CRISPR-Cas9 offer promising solutions developing heat-resistant cotton varieties. highlights need innovative strategies ensure sustainable production under change.

ABSTRACT The challenge of feeding the world's growing population is impaired by declining arable land, water quality and erratic weather patterns due to climate change. Abiotic stresses such as drought, heat, salinity cold disrupt plant growth, reducing crop yields quality. Modern biotechnological tools including high‐throughput sequencing bioinformatics have enabled characterization stress responses through advanced “omics” technologies. Genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics epigenomics describe molecular mechanisms underlying tolerance. Integrating multi‐omics approaches provides a deeper understanding these mechanisms, addressing limitations single‐omics studies. combination data (genomics, proteomics metabolomics) identifies important biomarkers, regulatory networks genetic targets that enhance resilience. This information regarding plants crucial for genome‐assisted breeding (GAB) improve traits development climate‐resilient crops withstand environmental challenges. Therefore, researchers use pipelines productive crops, tolerance, solving global food security challenges caused change stressors. review discusses role omics technologies in describing explores how this applied resilience productivity, which leads improved crops. application combining develop next‐generation are capable thriving under adverse conditions, ensuring reliable safe supply future conditions.

Common bean production is crucial in Western Kenya due to its economic, nutritional, environmental, and cultural importance. However, challenges such as diseases, especially viral cause significant crop losses. This study sought identify potential biomarkers for BCMV BCMNV diseases by analyzing small molecule metabolites diseased common systems gain an understanding of related metabolic pathways. Virus-free Rosecoco cultivars were planted exposed specific regions, with healthy plants serving controls. Diseased leaves collected metabolite extraction analyzed using liquid chromatography mass spectrometry. A total 354 identified across seven pathways, 51 upregulated metabolites, primarily from fatty acids, terpenoids, alkaloids. Ten differentially expressed, the molecular structures two successfully determined. These serve disease detection, monitoring, resistance beans. The findings highlight role acids well importance regional variability plant hormone regulation response stress, suggesting that further research into these pathways will be essential defense mechanisms.
