Effects of 12 weeks of yoga practice on depression, stress, anxiety, and sleep quality in mothers of adolescents DOI

Background. Maternal mental health is essential for maintaining family stability and promoting adolescent growth. Mothers experience difficulties in combining emotional support with independence, underlining the need interventions that address their well-being. Research objective. The purpose of this study to fill a research gap by examining effects long-term yoga intervention on psychological measures sleep quality mothers children. Methods. Forty children participated randomized controlled measured depression, stress, anxiety, both before after program. Results. Based statistical analysis, an independent t-test showed no significant differences were observed between groups baseline assessment. A paired group exhibited improvements: depression (p < 0.001) 31.06% reduction, stress 50.63% anxiety 17.79% 31.32% improvement. In contrast, control changes = 0.19), 0.43), 0.34), or 0.67).
