With the widespread consensus on sustainable development of economy and society, environmental issues heavy metal pollution in soils have received considerable attention.Confronted with these issues, soil washing has been widely studied, due to its advantages simple operation, wide application, high efficiency low costs.However, reducing secondary contamination agents selecting best a barrier technology.Based this background, study comprehensively investigated concentration levels metals different types contaminated sites, analyzed current research status field, pointed out urgency challenge remediation for pollution.Meanwhile, disadvantages techniques their application case studies were summarized.In addition, effects molecular weight organic acids pollutants key influencing factors also fully discussed.Finally, limitation field area future directions out.This review would be expected provide practical engineering washing.

Soil washing is a rapid and efficient method for heavy metals removal. In this study, in order to prove the feasibility of leaching remediation technology lead-contaminated soil around smelter, intermittent oscillating tests extensive continuous were conducted remediate Pb contaminated soils. Plant growth with wheat (Bainong Aikang 58) also investigate effects on plant content stems leaves. The results revealed that soils, mainly exists forms PbCO3, Pb5(PO4)3Cl2, PbSO4, small amounts PbS. showed lower liquidsolid(L/S) ratio higher temperature time related increased removal efficiency. efficiency rates 72.50% 69.94%, respectively. addition, chemical physical characteristics basically unchanged after regimes. regimes did not have negative effect survival rate wheat, metal contents stem leaf effectively reduced.
