Exploring the role of noncoding RNAs in cancer diagnosis, prognosis, and precision medicine

This
review
article
studies
the
complex
field
of
noncoding
RNAs
(ncRNAs)
in
cancer
biology,
focusing
on
their
potential
use
as
biomarkers
and
therapeutic
targets.
NcRNAs
include
circular
(circRNAs),
long
(lncRNAs),
microRNAs
(miRNAs).
We
discuss
how
ncRNAs
affect
gene
expression
cancerous
cells,
spread
cancer,
metastasis.
The
illustrates
pathways
through
which
can
oncogenesis,
tumor
suppression,
resistance.
It
also
assesses
clinical
uses
non-coding
(ncRNAs),
including
utility
diagnosis,
prognosis.
Besides,
for
personalized
therapy
is
documented.
Finally,
it
concluded
that
understanding
role
ncRNA
importance
regarding
carcinogenesis,
therapy.

Community-acquired
pneumonia
(CAP)
is
a
major
cause
of
death
in
children,
and
Mycoplasma
pneumoniae
(MP)
the
main
pathogen
CAP
children
China.
Although
(MPP)
usually
self-limiting
disease,
many
develop
multiple
complications
due
to
drug
resistance
or
untimely
diagnosis
treatment,
may
even
progress
severe
MPP
refractory
with
poor
prognosis.
It
important
explore
value
biomarkers
that
can
be
used
clinical
practice
assess
severity
assist
decision
making.
In
this
article,
we
searched
literature
last
four
years
review
roles
various
types
associated
predictive
models,
aim
helping
pediatricians
understand
evaluation
indexes
related
other
than
microbiology.

Predictive clinical indicators of refractory Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia in children: A retrospective cohort study

To
determine
the
clinical
indicators
predictive
of
refractory
Mycoplasma
pneumoniae
pneumonia
(RMPP)
in
children
and
develop
a
robust
model
to
aid
early
identification
management.
A
retrospective
cohort
study
was
conducted
on
338
diagnosed
with
RMPP
out
total
1500
cases
at
single
tertiary
hospital
from
May
2021
November
2023.
Clinical
demographic
data
analyzed
included
age,
gender,
parents’
educational
level,
household
income,
body
mass
index,
allergic
constitution,
laboratory
findings
such
as
white
blood
cell
count,
neutrophil
lymphocyte
counts,
platelet
levels
C-reactive
protein
(CRP),
D-dimer,
procalcitonin.
Univariate
multivariate
logistic
regression
analyses
were
performed
identify
significant
predictors
RMPP,
developed.
Among
cohort,
52.4%
female,
mean
age
6.07
±
2.78
years.
Multivariate
analysis
identified
several
poor
prognosis,
including
higher
longer
duration
fever,
elevated
levels,
increased
ratio
ratio.
The
demonstrated
outstanding
diagnostic
performance,
an
area
under
receiver
operating
characteristic
curve
0.963
(95%
confidence
interval:
0.946–0.981).
Our
identifies
key
accuracy
for
predicting
children.

Abstract
Mycoplasma
pneumoniae

pneumonia

manifestations.

coronavirus
disease
(COVID‐19)
pandemic
interfered
with
the
global
spread
of

A
large‐scale
post‐COVID
outbreak
currently
ongoing
in
China.
To
help
physicians
better
understand
manage
this
epidemic,
we
provide
review
summarizing
current
knowledge
on
pathogenesis,
epidemic
characteristics,
macrolide
resistance,
diagnostic
methods,
clinical
treatment
strategies
for
pathogen.

Self-collection
