Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a chronic metabolic disease with high global prevalence. Background and Objectives: Coadministration of natural products to enhance the potency conventional antirheumatic treatment is high interest. This study aimed assess impact administration silymarin (a nutritional supplement) in patients with active rheumatoid arthritis under disease-modifying drugs. Materials Methods: One-hundred twenty-two diagnosed treated drugs were randomly assigned either control or intervention groups; latter was supplemented (300 mg/day) for 8 weeks. Indicators disease activity, inflammatory markers, activity disability indices, European League Against Rheumatism responses, fatigue, depression, anxiety scores determined at baseline week 8.
