Cannabis
has
been
associated
with
psychopathology
since
ancient
times,
but
controversies
continue
despite
important
advances
in
the
field.
This
article
is
fourth
one
our
decadal
series
of
review
articles

Adolescence
is

unique
developmental
period

Bipolar
Disorder
(BD)
is
a
highly
comorbid
condition,
and
rates
of
cooccurring
disorders
are
even
higher
in
youth.
Comorbid

clinical
presentation,

prognosis,

review
focuses
on
the
treatment
implications
comorbidity
between
BD
Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity
Disorder,
disruptive
behavior
(Oppositional
Defiant
and/or
Conduct
Disorder),
alcohol
substance
use
disorders,
Autism
Spectrum
anxiety
Obsessive-Compulsive
eating
disorders.These
associations
define
specific
conditions
which
not
simply
sum
different
pictures,
but
occur
as
distinct
complex
combinations
with
developmental
pathways
over
time
selective
therapeutic
requirements.
Pharmacological
treatments
can
improve
these
pictures
by
addressing
conditions,
though
same
may
also
worsen
inducing
manic
or
depressive
