PLATZ transcription factors represent a novel class of zinc finger proteins unique to plants and play critical roles in plant growth stress responses. This study performs bioinformatic analysis on the factor family tomato. In tomato genome, 20 were identified, distributed across nine chromosomes, including two tandem duplication clusters segmental events. Phylogenetic classified members into five subgroups, with consistent gene structures motif distributions within same subfamily. The stress-responsive hormone signaling elements widely promoters SlPLATZs. qRT-PCR results showed that most tested SlPLATZs highly expressed flowers significantly under different abiotic stresses (PEG, low temperature, salt treatments) treatments (ABA SA). addition, we determined SlPLATZ13/17/18/19 transcriptional inhibitory activities via yeast dual-luciferase reporter assays. interactions between SlPLATZ17, SlDREB2, SlDREB31 preliminarily confirmed two-hybrid Overall, this provides valuable theoretical foundation for functional function research factors, particularly response stresses.
