Abstract Background : The timing of a breast cancer (BC) diagnosis has significant psychological impact on patients. Abstract Purpose In this study, exercise interventions were evaluated for their effects on cancer-related fatigue (CRF) and quality of life (QoL) among cancer patients. Design A meta-analysis was performed. Methods We systematically searched the PubMed/Medline, Web Science, Embase, Cochrane Central Register Controlled Trials (CENTRAL), PsycINFO, CINAHL databases, gray literature sources including Virginia Henderson International Nursing Library Google Scholar. This study only included randomized controlled trials (RCTs) examining how affect CRF QoL Based Risk-of-Bias Assessment Tool, version 2 (RoB 2) Grading Recommendations Assessment, Development Evaluation (GRADE) approach, methodological studies evaluated. addition, standardized mean differences (SMDs) 95% confidence intervals (CIs) applied to assess intervention effect with respect QoL. Abstract Purpose Despite improved survival for people with advanced cancer due to new medical treatments, a growing group of long-term responders (LTRs) has learn live uncertainties that affect several life domains. Abstract Patients undergoing hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT) must cope with physical and psychological symptoms. Yet, studies examining pre-HCT coping are limited. We aimed to characterize coping, evaluate the association of baseline quality life (QOL) distress, identify sociodemographic factors associated coping. conducted a cross-sectional analysis data from multisite randomized supportive care intervention trial among patients hematologic malignancies allogeneic or autologous HCT. assessed patient-reported QOL, within 72 hours admission for used median split method dichotomize multivariate regression analyses distress QOL. Of awaiting HCT (n = 360; mean age, 55.4 years; 49.7% autologous), 43.5% were high users approach-oriented whereas 31.3% avoidant reported use emotional support (60.9%), acceptance (51.2%), self-blame (33%), denial (31.3%). Older age (≥65 years) was less frequent (odds ratio, 0.5; P .01). Breast cancer poses a significant global health challenge, with Iran experiencing particularly high incidence and mortality rates. Understanding the adaptation process of Iranian breast survivors' post-treatment is crucial. This study explores perceptions, barriers, coping mechanisms survivors by integrating Stress-Coping Theory (SCT) Health Belief Model (HBM). Semi-structured interviews were conducted 17 survivors, grounded theory approach guided deductive content analysis data. The findings reveal key themes, including perceived susceptibility, benefits, barriers to care, cues action, self-efficacy, appraisal action. Perceived susceptibility highlights diagnostic challenges stemming from practitioner errors symptom misconceptions. benefits underscore importance early detection support healthcare providers families. Barriers include cultural financial obstacles, while action reflect influence media, family, personal experiences on healthcare-seeking behavior. also examines strategies, such as problem-focused emotion-focused approaches, along family external stressors.
