Abstract
Yeasts
play
an
important
role
in
the
life
cycle
and
biology
of
insect
pest
Drosophila
suzukii
(Matsumura),
commonly
known
as
spotted
wing
drosophila
(SWD).
Adult
larvae
this
species
are
to
feed
benefit
from
yeast
their
diet.
In
addition,
yeasts
were
found
be
attractive
SWD
repeatedly
associated
with
SWD.

most
mentioned.

Microorganisms
play
a
central
role
in
the
biology
of
vinegar
flies
such
as
Drosophila
suzukii
and
melanogaster:

Abstract
