The prognosis of bladder cancer (BC) is poor, and there no effective personalized management method for BC patients at present. Lung cancer is a highly prevalent and fatal that seriously threatens the safety of people in various regions around world. The phenotype of pyroptosis has been extensively studied in a variety tumors, but the relationship between and esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) remains unclear. Pyroptosis is a programmed cell death that may either promote or hinder cancer growth under different circumstances. Pyroptosis-related genes (PRGs) could be useful target for therapy, and are uncommon in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD). The expression profiles, mutation data clinical information of LUAD patients were included this study. A pyroptosis-related prognostic risk score (PPRS) model was constructed by performing Cox regression, weighted gene co-expression network analysis (WGCNA), least absolute shrinkage selection operator (LASSO) to patients. Somatic copy number variation (CNV), tumor immunity, sensitivity immunotherapy/chemotherapy compared between PPRS groups. Clinical parameters combined with construct decision tree nomogram. Background: Okanin, a flavonoid compound derived from Bidens pilosa L., has garnered attention for its anti-inflammatory properties. Although is commonly used in healthcare products and functional foods, the anticancer potential of okanin, particularly oral cancer, remains underexplored. This study aims to investigate effects okanin on cancer cell lines as therapeutic agent. Methods: The involved assessing cytotoxic SAS, SCC25, HSC3, OEC-M1. IC50 values were determined using methylene blue assays, clonogenic capacity was evaluated through colony formation assays. Flow cytometry analyze cycle progression apoptosis. Caspase-3/7 activity assays annexin V/7-AAD staining confirmed induction apoptosis pyroptosis. In vivo efficacy assessed SAS xenograft model, immunohistochemical analysis tissue performed examine pyroptosis-related markers.
