We aim to explore the prerequisites for corporate sustainability from perspective of non-formal institutions such as culture. Purpose This paper aims to gain insights into the paradoxical tensions emerging from circular business model innovation (CBMI) and how overcome them by developing a theoretical framework drawing on two streams: firstly, paradox theory for shedding light often “invisible” contradictions generated implementation of economy (CE) principles in transformation; secondly, dynamic capability that can contribute investigation manage these contradictions.
