As
urbanization
accelerates
and
climate
change
intensifies,
cities
are
increasingly
facing
risks
from
natural
disasters
human
activities.
Enhancing
urban
resilience
strengthening
cities’
ability
to
adapt
recover

hot
topics
globally.
Although
evaluation
has
been
studied

dimensions,
the
study
of
a
practitioner’s
perspective
received
less
attention.
In
this
study,
based
on
1464
valid
samples
practitioners
in
Huangshi
City,
structural
equation
model
(SEM)
was
applied
evaluate
resilience.

infrastructure

show
that

SEM
provides
scientific
basis
for
establishing
an
index
system
comprehensive
resilience,

correlation

indicator.

The
process
of
sustainable
urban
development
faces
complex
and
severe
environmental
problems.
Therefore,
enhancing
ecological
resilience
(UER)
has
become
an
urgent
critical
goal.

this
study,
the
establishment
national
forest
cities
(NFCs)
in
China
is
regarded
as
exogenous
shock
event,
impact
NFCs
on
UER
its
mechanisms
are
investigated
based
data
from
292
spanning
2003
to
2021
using
a
difference-in-difference
method.

found
that
can
significantly
enhance
UER,
conclusion
holds
after
series
robustness
tests.
Mechanism
analysis

effectively
strengthen
regulations,
upgrade
industrial
structures,
promote
green
innovation,
thus
UER.

low-carbon

The Impact of Land Marketization on Urban Resilience: Empirical Evidence from Chinese Cities

Enhancing
urban
resilience
(UR)
is
the
pivotal
strategy
for
achieving
sustainable
development.
Given
that
land
serves
as
cornerstone
of
activities,
it
imperative
to
examine
relationship
between
marketization
(LM)
and
amidst
profound
market-oriented
reforms
in
China.
After
establishing
conceptual
framework
resilience,
this
paper
assesses
temporal
spatial
dynamics
empirically
investigates
impact
on
drawing
data
from
282
cities
across
China,
spanning
2001
2021.
Our
findings
reveal
several
important
insights.
First,
due
its
public
bidding
competitive
pricing
mechanisms,
a
powerful
measure
foster
enables
flexibly
respond
various
challenges
changes.
Second,
indirect
including
optimizing
resource
allocation,
upgrading
industrial
structure,
fostering
technological
innovation,
are
crucial

resilience.

Cities

geographic

affected
than
others.
