The
promotion
of
farmers’
green
production
behavior
(GPB)
to
accelerate
agricultural
development
and
food
system
transformation
is
a
popular
issue
worldwide.
Based
on
the
representative
literature
from
2015
October
2024,
this
study
reviews
connotation
stage
characteristics
GPB.
current
research
focuses
primarily
primary
industry,
particularly
agriculture,
which
not
in
line
with
global
trend
rural
development;
thus,
it
seems
necessary
reiterate
connotation.

factors
GPB
are
discussed
at
individual,
household,
external
levels,
relationships
effects
each
group
reviewed;
future
should
re-examine
formation
mechanism
perspective
industry
integration
upgrading.
This
paper

major

worldwide
summarizes

Abstract
This
study
contributes
to
the
debate
about
effective
regulatory
strategies
for
environmental
regulation
in
achieving
sustainable
agriculture,
particularly
understudied
emerging
economies.
We
leverage
case
of
swine
manure
recovery
China
illuminate
this
crucial
but
under‐researched
context.
Building
on
theory
planned
behavior,
which
posits
a
gap
between
intention
and
we
investigate
how
these
regulations
their
combinations
influence
farmers'
intentions
behaviors
toward
resource
recovery.
Findings
reveal
command‐and‐control
most
effectively
stimulate
initial
intentions,
while
incentive‐based
work
best
bridging
action.
Information‐based
approaches

strengthen
