Background: Ultrasonic irradiation has the remarkable potential to amplify reactivity by a factor of approximately one million. The effects ultrasound on chemical processes can be categorized as either homogeneous sonochemistry, which takes place in liquids, or heterogeneous occurs liquid-liquid liquid-solid systems. Objectives: Pyrimidines are vital group compounds known for their anticancer activities. This study delves into investigating application ultrasonic synthesis pyridopyrimidine derivatives. Methods: In our study, we utilized pyrimidine derivatives 1, 2a, and 2b reducing agents during creation selenium nanoparticles (Het-SeNPs). characterization these was executed through range analytical approaches, including ultraviolet-visible spectrometry, dynamic light scattering (DLS, Zeta), transmission electron microscopy (TEM). Additionally, FTIR NMR spectroscopic examinations provided proof formation within synthesized molecules 2b. Results: impact produced heterocyclic Het-SeNPs assessed various cancer cell lines, breast (MCF-7), liver (HepG2), prostate (PC-3) lines. All tested substances demonstrated reasonable level safety HFB4 line, represents normal human skin melanocytes. Noteworthy is substantial cytotoxicity exhibited compound against MCF-7 Conclusion: Moreover, 2b-SeNPs even higher line compared 2b, where 5-fluorouracil used reference standard. Detailed division analysis disclosed significant antiproliferative properties 2b-SeNPs, leading arrest cycle at pre-G1 G2/M phases.

Geraniol (GNL), a natural monoterpene, is found in many essential oils of fruits, vegetables, and herbs, including lavender, citronella, lemongrass, other medicinal aromatic plants. GNL commonly used by the cosmetic food industries has shown wide spectrum pharmacological activities anti-inflammatory, anticancer, antimicrobial, antioxidant, neuroprotective activities. It represents potential anti-inflammatory agent promising cancer chemopreventive agent, as it been to be effective against broad range cancers, colon, prostate, breast, lung, skin, kidney, liver, pancreatic cancer. Moreover, scavenges free radicals preserves activity antioxidant enzymes. In addition, induces apoptosis cell cycle arrest, modulates multiple molecular targets, p53 STAT3, activates caspases, inflammation via transcriptional regulation. present study, different modes action are described for GNL’s inflammatory diseases. This compound protects various enzymes, such catalase, glutathione-S-transferase, glutathione peroxidase. Experiments using allergic encephalomyelitis, diabetes, asthma, carcinogenesis models showed that treatment had beneficial effects with low toxicity. animal tumor lines, but there have not any clinical studies carried out it. The aim review provide updated data on inflammation, enhance our understanding involved pathways, possible use therapeutic purposes inflammation-related

Geraniol nanoemulsions (G-NE) based on Tween 80 and medium chain triglyceride (MCT) as surfactant co-surfactant, respectively, has been prepared by the spontaneous emulsification method. Its physical chemical properties such mean particle size, zeta potential, PDI, pH, viscosity, contact angle, appearance morphology, stability (storage stability, thermal centrifugal properties, acid-base freeze-thaw properties) of droplet were analyzed. The results showed that size G-NE was 90.33 ± 5.23 nm, PDI 0.058 0.0007, potential −17.95 5.85 mV encapsulation efficiency >90%. produced demonstrated to be fairly stable in long-term storage at 4°C, pH = 5 high-speed centrifuges. Moreover, had a significant inhibition effect Staphylococcus aureus , Escherichia coli Salmonella typhimurium Listeria monocytogenes ( p < 0.05 ). bacterial rates concentration 1 MIC 48, 99, 71.73, 99% after 12 h action against these four foodborne pathogenic bacteria, respectively. Abstract Doxorubicin is a chemotherapeutic drug that generates free radical-induced toxicities. Natural agents are used to potentiate or ameliorate the toxicity of chemotherapy. None studies investigating whether antioxidants prooxidants should be with chemotherapy have addressed their efficacy in same study. Therefore, aim this study was investigate potential synergy between doxorubicin and two natural rarely vivo studied anticancer agents; antioxidant “Kaempferol” prooxidant “Piperlongumine” Ehrlich tumor mice model. 77 albino were divided into 11 groups; ascites carcinoma cells injected intramuscularly develop solid tumors. After 14 days, intratumoral injections single combinations Chitosan nanoparticles loaded doxorubicin, Piperlongumine, Kaempferol performed. Tumor Characterization measured, tumors histopathologically examined evaluation expression for cancer-related genes by real-time PCR. Abstract Seborrheic dermatitis is a chronic inflammatory disease caused by Malassezia yeast species that affects the regions of body where sebaceous glands are present. The combined use different essential oils (EOs) can increase their spectrum action. Thus, present study aimed to evaluate action EOs alone and in combination with each other on M. furfur, planktonic biofilm form, anti-inflammatory mutagenic potential, addition effects viability cells lines. Of 40 evaluated EOs, 22 showed activity against furfur at 0.5 – 2.0 mg/mL concentrations. Among most active species, blend (BEOs) composed Cymbopogon martini (Roxb.) Will. Watson (MIC = mg/mL) Mentha × piperita L. 1.0 was selected, which synergistic effect when through checkerboard assay. fungicidal maintained oil from Varronia curassavica Jacq. BEOs. BEOs also inhibition formation eradication formed being superior fluconazole. Furthermore, it did not show potential interfere cell both lines (HaCaT BMDMs). TNF-α levels were reduced only C. martini; however, this property evaluating had no IL-8 levels. may be indicated for alternative treatments seborrheic dermatitis.
