BACKGROUND: Biosurfactants are surfactants derived from several types of microorganisms such as bacteria, yeasts and fungi membrane components or secondary metabolites. OBJECTIVE: To increase BS productivity a biocompatible, low-toxic substitute for chemical employed in modern industry the huge variety applications they used in. METHODS: Different media were isolation biosurfactant producers. The most potent bacterial isolate was analysed by 16S-rRNA. Plackett Burman Box-Behnken Designs optimization conditions. purified characterized. RESULTS: Only one strain demonstrated great productivity, excellent emulsifying capability (54.5±0.1%) oil spreading activity which Bacillus cereus AHMNAZ1 with accession number OP714421.1. lipopeptide nature, identified surfactin stable has Critical Micelle Concentration 60 mg/L. Isolated showed against Colon Carcinoma Breast cell lines can be antimicrobial agent. CONCLUSION: study found cheaper way creating biosurfactants agro-industrial wastes, delivering twofold benefit lowering environmental pollution manufacturing useful biotechnological products (biosurfactants) high thermostability. Moreover, it bioremediation oil-polluted soils medical fields.

Abstract The purification and characterization of lipopeptide biosurfactants produced by Bacillus sp. MI27 permits to identify two clusters cyclic linear surfactin isoforms. Aiming for a potential application in industrial biotechnology, we studied its washing capacity. results show good ability wash oil stains, motor mayonnaise evaluated the determination % stain removal tissue bleaching indices after washing. Optimal capacities were unregistered 300 400 mg/L at pH values ranging from 5 9 temperatures 20 40°C. Using 4-factor mixing design, optimized liquid formula composed only BioS; silicate; carboxymethyl cellulose calcium phosphate. efficiency is order 43.46% petroleum 49.10% with percentage reduction surface tension about 55.79% corresponding 25.7 mN/m.

Abstract Microbial surfactants are natural amphiphilic compounds with high surface activities and emulsifying properties. Due to their structural diversity, low toxicity, biodegradability, chemical stability in different conditions, these molecules potential substitutes for surfactants; interest has grown significantly over the last decade. The current study focuses on isolation, identification, characterization of a lactic acid bacteria that produces two forms biosurfactants. OL5 strain was isolated from green olive fermentation identified using MALDI/TOF ADNr16S amplification. Emulsification activity tension measurements were used estimate biosurfactant production. biosurfactants derived L. plantarum presented good emulsification powers presence various oils. They also shown have reduce water 69 mN/m 34 37 within critical micelle concentration (CMC) 7 mg/ml 1.8 mg/ml, respectively, cell bound extracellular Thin layer chromatography (TLC) FT-IR analyze composition produced. obtained data revealed biomolecules consist mixture carbohydrates, lipids proteins. We demonstrated they anionic glycolipopeptide nature which stable extreme conditions temperature, pH salinity.
