Due
to
expanding
seaweed-based
industries
and
the
growing
popularity
of
seaweed
biorefineries,
there
is
an
increasing
opportunity
for
high-value
applications
seaweed-extracted
polysaccharides.
One
most
fascinating
these
biopolymers
in
field
agriculture,
where
they
have
been
used
as
fertilizers,
hydrogel/granules
slow
release
urea,
herbicides,
insecticides,
water
reservoirs
tackle
drought-like
situations.
Polysaccharides,
such
alginate,
agar/agarose,
ulvan,
carrageenan,
etc.,
a
long
time
multiple
applications;
however,
their
use
development
hydrogels
subsequent
utilization
deal
with
agricultural
challenges
like
drought
mitigation,
reduce
chemicals
leaching
from
or
lessen
harmful
impacts
pesticides
increase
crop
yields,
has
recently
gained
significant
amount
interest
scientists.
In
this
review
article,
we
thoroughly
discuss
technique
generally
utilized
extract
polysaccharides
seaweeds,
structure,
gelation
mechanism,
various
hydrogels,
namely,
carrageenan.
The
impact
bioadditives
surface
modification
techniques
on
properties
polysaccharide-based
absorption/retention
tendency,
variation
fertilizers/pesticide
releasing
capability,
are
discussed.
Finally,
along
some
future
possibilities

Abstract
Highly
selective
and
sensitive
quantitative
detection
of
ofloxacin
(OFX)
at
ultralow
concentrations
in
aqueous
media
development
new
afterglow

lanthanide
metal–organic
framework
(NIIC‐2‐Tb)

Antibiotic
resistance
is
one
of
the
greatest
threats
to
global
health
and
food
security
today.
It
becomes
increasingly
difficult
treat
infectious
disorders
because
antibiotics,
even
newest
ones,
are
becoming
less
effective.
One
ways
taken
in
Global
Plan
Action
announced
at
World
Health
Assembly
May
2015
ensure
prevention
treatment
diseases.
In
order
do
so,
attempts
made
develop
new
antimicrobial
therapeutics,
including
biomaterials
with
antibacterial
activity,
such
as
polycationic
polymers,
polypeptides,
polymeric
systems,
provide
non-antibiotic
therapeutic
agents,
selected
biologically
active
nanoparticles
chemical
compounds.
Another
key
issue
preventing
from
contamination
by
developing
packaging
materials,
particularly
based
on
degradable
polymers
biocomposites.
This
review,
a
cross-sectional
way,
describes
most
significant
research
activities
conducted
recent
years
field
development
materials
polymer
composites
properties.
We
focus
natural
i.e.,
polysaccharides
which
present
mechanism
for
combating
many
highly
pathogenic
microorganisms.

In
this
study,
we
created
new
pH-sensitive
hydrogel
films
using
κ-carrageenan
(CG)
and
either
quercetin
(QUE)
or
eucalyptus
leaf
extract
(ELE)
to
monitor
the
spoilage
of
chicken
meat.
The
ability
control
freshness
was
confirmed
by
observing
dependence
color
on
pH
changes
measuring
total
volatile
basic
nitrogen
(TVB-N)
levels
for
CG-QUE
(26.5)
CG-ELE
(29.75).
After
conducting
a
UV-Vis
analysis,
it
established
that
containing
0.3
%
QUE
ELE,
with
transparency
above
90
%,
have
potential
further
research.
We
found
more
effective
in
preventing
bacterial
growth
reducing
compared
CG-QUE.
film
also
had
superior
mechanical
behavior

strength
