ABSTRACT Background In recent years, increases in consumer awareness regarding health and the environment have enhanced their willingness to purchase plant extract‐based skin‐care products. Although product industry has paid increasing attention behavior few studies investigated customer loyalty this type of product; in‐depth research is urgently required fill gap. Aims This study Taiwanese products derived from extracts by identifying relationships between prior experience, involvement, perceived value, loyalty. It also examined how demographic characteristics influence Patients/Methods An online survey yielded 920 valid samples for statistical analysis. Three constructs namely product, message, situational involvement; three functional, emotional, social value; loyalty, repurchase intention, receive information, pay, were identified through factor Results The respondents' value significantly influenced toward plant‐extract‐based with strongest effect on intention was emotional followed functional value. information pay Conclusions Respondents higher educational levels less likely willing Moreover, men more price premiums these than women.

The fruit of berry plants is primarily used for industrial purposes, while the leaves are often regarded as waste. However, these leaves, rich in valuable bioactive compounds, have potential to serve raw materials various industries, including cosmetics. This study compared content micro- and macronutrients wild strawberry, blackberry, blueberry plants. It revealed a high mineral content, particularly strawberry blackberry plant were also shown contain vitamin C exhibited antioxidant activity. obtain micellar extracts, which then incorporated into formulation prototype bath washes. A cosmetic without any extracts served reference. In next step, cosmetics evaluated their chosen properties. findings showed that incorporating leaf formulations reduced viscosity ability generate long-lasting foam, even presence model sebum. Furthermore, formulated with capacity emulsify fatty soils reference formulation, could present an advantageous option individuals sensitive skin.

Phenolic compounds, with their diverse biological activities, are widely explored as cosmetic ingredients photoprotective, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anti-hyperpigmentation properties, offering a multitargeted approach to combat photo-induced skin aging. The study analyzed 1299 products from 2021 2024 understand the market impact of phenolic compounds mechanism action against damage. A total 28 active were identified prevalence phenolics was 13.2% in anti-aging products, 5.2% sunscreens 4.8% aftersun products. Bakuchiol polyphenols, such resveratrol, chrysin, hesperidin methyl chalcone, found Sunscreens counted ferulic caffeic acids, salicylic acid, respectively. Antioxidant activity be primary by scavenging reactive species, thus mitigating oxidative stress. Ferulic glucosylrutin can also absorb UV radiation, acting preventively solar-induced This provides insights into limited use commercial cosmetics, despite suggests potential barriers wider sun care
