Differential Expression of Amaranth AtrDODA Gene Family Members in Betalain Synthesis and Functional Analysis of AtrDODA1-1 Promoter

Amaranth
an
important
resource
for
study
extraction
betalains.
In
order
to
clarify
function
AtrDODA
family
genes
biosynthesis,
we
screened
out
three
members
associated
with
betalains
based
on
genome
database
RNA-seq
databases
Amaranthus
tricolor.
Their
characterization
expression
pattern
were
further
analyzed.
result
subcellular
localization
showed
that
all
located
nucleus.
Betacyanin
betaxanthin
promoted
paclobutrazol
treatment
leaves
stems
‘Suxian
No.1’
(red),
while
inhibited
gibberellin
darkness,
which
consistent
AtrDODAs.
After
heterologous
transformation
AtrDODA1-1
promoter
into
tobacco
GUS
staining
analysis,
activity
(red)
amaranth
was
significantly
higher
than
No.2’
(green)
amaranth.
Furthermore,
analyzed
qRT-PCR
after
sprayed
exogenous
MeJA
GA3
transformed
results
responded
hormones.
This
could
lay
foundation
revealing
biological
functions
family,
provide
new
clues
molecular
mechanism
synthesis.

RNA-Seq Insight into the Impact and Mechanisms of Methyl Donor and Glycine Betaine Osmoprotectant on Polyketide Secondary Metabolism in Monascus purpureus M1

Glycine
betaine
(GB)
serves
as
both
a
methyl
donor
and
osmoprotectant
in
microorganisms,
facilitating
growth
enhancing
metabolic
product
yields.
While
the
polyketide
metabolites
from
Monascus
purpureus,
such
pigments
(MPs)
monacolin
K
(MK),
have
been
extensively
studied,
effects
of
GB
on
their
production
underlying
molecular
mechanisms
remain
insufficiently
explored.
In
this
study,
various
concentrations
were
added
to
purpureus
M1
cultures,
followed
by
RNA
sequencing,
RT-qPCR,
differential
gene
expression
analysis,
functional
enrichment
investigate
regulatory
impact
metabolism.
Protein–protein
interaction
network
analysis
identified
key
upregulated
genes,
including
RPS15,
RPS14,
RPS5,
NDK1,
EGD2,
ATP9,
particularly
during
later
phases.
significantly
genes
involved
stress
response,
secondary
metabolism,
biosynthesis.
Scanning
electron
microscopy,
HPLC,
UV-Vis
spectrophotometry
further
confirmed
that
promoted
strain
production,
with
red
pigment
MK
increasing
120.08%

metabolism
functioning
osmoprotectant,
offering
new
insights
into
optimizing
microbial

Abstract
Amino

nitrogen
metabolism
but
also
defense
responses.

transporter
encoded
by
Glyma

Rhg1-GmAAT
)
at
the
soybean
locus,
contributes
to
resistance
cyst
nematode
(SCN),
although
planta
function
of
remains
elusive.
In
this
study
we
discovered
that
overexpression
roots
enhances
betalain
pigment
synthesis
driven
a
RUBY
transgene
cassette,
potentially
through
its
activity
affecting
tyrosine
level
and
homeostasis.
Silencing
moderately
increased
accumulation
while
co-overexpression
GmRBOHG
(encoding
-interacting
NADPH
oxidase)
blocked
phenotype,
indicating
complex
role
regulating
cellular
metabolism.
Soybean
did
not
show
phenotype
when
co-overexpressed
with
Nicotiana
benthamiana
leaves,
suggesting
functions
differently
N.
soybean,
expression
proteins
mutated
conserved
residues
D122A
or
Y268L
mitigated
enhanced
phenotypes,
respectively,

are
important
