Microplastic (MP) contamination is an acknowledged global problem that poses a severe risk to aquatic ecosystem biota. Nevertheless, little known about their prevalence in animal construction. The main objective of our study was reduce the gap information seasonal abundance, distribution, composition, and assessment MP contamination. concentrations MPs sediment, Chironomus sp. larvae, tubes were found be higher site 2 (S2) than 1 (S1) during four seasons year.
