In the 21st century, nanomaterials play an increasingly important role in our lives with applications many sectors, including agriculture, biomedicine, and biosensors. Over last two decades, extensive research has been conducted to find ways synthesise nanoparticles (NPs) via mediation fungi or fungal extracts. Mycosynthesis can potentially be energy-efficient, highly adjustable, environmentally benign alternative conventional physico-chemical procedures. This review investigates of metal toxicity on cell growth biochemical levels, how their strategies resistance, i.e., chelation, biomineral formation, biosorption, bioaccumulation, compartmentalisation, efflux metals from cells, contribute synthesis metal-containing NPs used different applications, e.g., biomedical, antimicrobial, catalytic, biosensing, precision agriculture. Natural melanin from Auricularia heimuer have numerous beneficial biological properties, which were used as a safe and healthy colorant in several industries.In this study, single-factor experiments, Box-Behnken design (BBD), response surface methodology (RSM) employed to investigate the effects of alkali-soluble pH, acid precipitation microwave time on extraction yield (AHM) fermentation. Ultraviolet-visible spectrum (UV-Vis), Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy, scanning electron microscope (SEM), high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) analyze extracted AHM. The solubility, stability, antioxidant activities AHM also measured.The results showed that significantly affected yield, with following optimized microwave-assisted conditions: pH 12.3, 3.1, 53 min, resulting an 0.4042%. exhibited strong absorption at 210 nm, similar other sources. FT-IR spectroscopy revealed three characteristic peaks natural melanin. HPLC chromatogram profile single symmetrical elution peak 2.435 min retention time. was highly soluble alkali solution, insoluble distilled water organic solvents, demonstrated DPPH, OH, ABTS free radical scavenging activities.This study provides technical support optimize for use medical food industries.
