Employee innovative behavior is crucial for organizations to engage in activities and gain competitive advantages the context of digital transformation. Despite many studies having focused on relationship between leadership employee behavior, role underlying mechanisms remain unclear. Using cognitive–affective processing system framework, study investigated dual mediating psychological empowerment affective commitment moderating a proactive personality such relationships. Employing data from 359 employees, conducted structure equation modeling examine hypotheses. The results show that influences through but not commitment. Furthermore, does moderate direct effect or indirect behavior. Theoretical practical implications are discussed.

The digital transformation of work and the rise remote workers (RWs) are gaining growing interest in occupational health science. However, research on managers' role well-being can be developed more. Aiming to bridge this gap, study first defines explores Digital Stress-Preventive Management Competencies (DMCs) then develops validates an indicator tool with a three-phase procedure. Phase 1 consisted literature review interviews experts identify DMCs, followed by item generation, content analysis competencies conceptualization. 2 was devoted validation, comprising exploratory confirmatory factor 247 RWs. 3 explored concurrent validity investigating relationship between DMCs psychosocial factors via structural equation modeling (sample 2) polynomial regression response surface 50 manager-team dyads (RWs 218). Two key were identified: supportive ICT-mediated interaction (SIMI) avoidance abusive ICT adoption (AAIA). final nine-item revealed two-factor structure good psychometric properties. SIMI associated superior support role, while AAIA linked demands control reported These findings suggest that identified related have potential applications future organizational intervention for purposes.

Design/methodology/approach Drawing view (DCV) supporting empirical evidence, a conceptual framework developed along with set hypotheses. Using survey data collected from 263 SMFBs in Oman, hypotheses are tested using structural equation modeling through partial least square-structural (PLS-SEM). Findings analysis reveals that DL positively influences ADC, SC OA. Additionally, OA mediate link between ADC. Finally, act as sequential mediators relationship ADC among SMFBs. Practical implications For practitioners, critical role strengthening Family business leaders may consider evidence invest development programs enhance competencies, enabling better agility. Policymakers can offer training resources, helping build essential for thriving competitive evolving environment. Originality/value This makes four key contributions. First, expands literature at crossroads business, digitalization, resilience, investigate Second, mediator above relationship, current study, seems be overlooked literature. The second centers analyzing consolidated patterns co-word network analysis, shedding light connections interrelationships between topics. By applying these techniques comprehensive dataset 56,547 papers gathered from Web Science Scopus, provides detailed understanding identifies potential for exploration. Five were identified: (1) Digital Transformation Research (LDTR); (2) Organizational Performance (LOPR); (3) Educational (ELR); (4) Practices Development (LPDR); (5) Gender Diversity (GDLR).
