The present study was conducted to determine the pre harvest interval of chlorpyrifos and quinalphos in hyacinth bean agro-climatic condition Bangladesh ensure safe food for consumers. A supervised field trial undertaken experimental Entomology Division BARI, Gazipur selected pesticides (chlorpyrifos quinalphos) were sprayed with recommended dose (1.5 ml/L water). samples collected at 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 12 days after spray (DAS). extracted cleaned up using modified Quick, Easy, Cheap, Effective, Rugged Safe (QuEChERS) extraction technique residues determined by Gas Chromatography (GC) coupled Flame Thermionic Detector (FTD). residue detected upto 8 DAS (0.027 mg/Kg) a level above EU-MRL, 9 DAS, no detected. Microplastics and pesticides are emerging contaminants in the marine biota, which cause many harmful effects on aquatic organisms, especially fish. Fish is a staple affordable food source, rich animal protein, along with various vitamins, essential amino acids, minerals. Exposure of fish to microplastics, pesticides, nanoparticles generates ROS induces oxidative stress, inflammation, immunotoxicity, genotoxicity, DNA damage alters gut microbiota, thus reducing growth quality Changes behavioral patterns, swimming, feeding habits were also observed under exposures above contaminants. These affect Nrf-2, JNK, ERK, NF-κB, MAPK signaling pathways. And Nrf2-KEAP1 signalling modulates redox status marinating enzymes Effects found modulate antioxidant enzymes, including superoxide dismutase, catalase, glutathione system. Heavy metal contamination in aquatic ecosystems worsens due to rapid industrial expansion. Biochar, an efficient and economical adsorbent, has attracted much interest environmental science, particularly removing heavy metals (HMs). The paper covers basic details on biochar, its preparation, potential chemical inorganic modifications. Possible adsorption mechanisms of HMs which include electrostatic attraction, ion exchange, surface complexation, precipitation, hydrogen bonding, are also discussed. These affected by the type biochar used species present. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the nutritional, microbial and sensory quality five dried fish species from drying centers in Bangladesh, consumers' perception on perceived health problems consuming fish. ABSTRACT Food safety is a critical public health concern for preventing foodborne illnesses and ensuring consumer protection. hazards may present throughout the food supply chain, from farm to fork, posing significant risks.
