The G-7 economies include economically developed countries on a global scale. high economic complexity and ecological behaviour of these have led to increased concern in other within the conjuncture. For this reason, study investigates impact complexity, human development, innovation processes, renewable energy consumption footprint, presenting as main novelty damper effect that development processes exert footprint. This empirical evidence is analyzed under validation U-inverted EKĆs between footprint for 1991–2018. Our follows second-generation perspective generates reliable robust results using Cup-FMOLS, Konya panel bootstrap causality VAR analyses cross-sectional dependence slope heterogeneity. long-run elasticity estimates calculated with Cup-FMOLS approach suggest process interaction variables reduce unidirectional from well process, part test. In addition, bidirectional linkage revealed process. countries, where higher than it crucial improve environmental quality ensure sustainable development. findings show can be accelerated by improving sources, R&D investments social dimension.

Limiting toxic elements from being exposed to the world's atmosphere has been biggest challenge among environmental researchers and stakeholders. Climate change conferences have counselling global economies take serious steps toward profound decarbonization keep universal temperature below 1.5 °C. In this context, direction of research changed, are more focused on tracing how limit pollution it threshold level. milieu, nuclear energy can make a big difference along with other alternatives fossil energy. Therefore, we extend extant literature by exploring dynamic effects atomic ICT carbon emissions (CO2) for top countries using data 1990 2017. To obtain robust findings, deploy novel non-parametric econometric approach (i.e., method moments quantile regression). The results suggest that is sustainable alternative historical fuel as curbs CO2 in lower, middle, upper quantiles. Furthermore, our findings corroborate penetration through internet, mobile telephone plays vital role improving quality. Moreover, unveil linear economic growth jeopardizes environment unleashing harmful gases. also support existence Environmental Kuznets Curve (EKC) hypothesis confirming negative association between polynomial (squared-GDP) designated nations. Also, Granger causality test reaffirms causal nexus selected series runs technological innovation emissions, indicating any policy shock both leads degradation. We, therefore, advocate territories enriching their baskets boost achieve 100% decoupling pollution.

Developing countries have been facing economic difficulties for over three and a half decades due to numerous factors, including fossil fuel consumption dwindling biocapacity. It is necessary pinpoint the factors that may be culpable poor environmental quality leading rising ecological footprint (EFP). This study explores effect of clean energy, financial development (FDV), globalization on EFP in developing country using novel dynamic ARDL simulation techniques bootstrap causality test. The findings suggest green energy has no meaningful impact EFP. Globalization FDV significantly reduce by 0.25% 0.08%, respectively. Besides, confirm existence EKC hypothesis. Furthermore, results affirm unidirectional from EFP, while growth drives globalization. Also, one-way flows FDV, just as Granger causes energy. In line with findings, recommends public policies focus funding environmental-friendly technologies innovations. must recently developed energy-saving can ensure complementarity between increased deterioration.

ABSTRACT To attain global ecological sustainability within the framework of modernization, this study scrutinizes multifaceted interaction among environmental‐related patent technologies (ERPT), natural resources, energy consumption (both renewable and nonrenewable usage) globalization on footprint. assess novel aspects ongoing objective, employs Disc/Kraay, fully modified ordinary least square (FMOLS), dynamic (DOLS) regression to generate comparative results across a panel technologically advanced countries resource‐rich least‐developed from 1990 2022. The empirical outcomes indicate that economies leading in eco‐friendly sources enhance environmental by minimizing their footprint over time. In contrast, rely heavily resource extraction meet demands tend exacerbate degradation. process demonstrates same trend for both developed developing long term significantly elevating level Dumitrescu Hurlin causality test discloses reverse causal connection concerning variables such as ERPT, reliance excluding extended duration. recommendations derived suggest governments should strategically promote adoption dissemination innovative, technologies. Meanwhile, focus overhauling policies play crucial role supporting advancing efforts nations.
