This study explores the interplay among economic growth, financial globalization, urbanization, fossil fuel consumption, and renewable energy usage their combined impact on load capacity factor in Mexico. research employs as a unique measure of ecological health, facilitating comprehensive ecosystem assessment by sequentially evaluating biocapacity effects. Using time series data spanning from 1971 to 2018, this Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) method analyze both long-term short-term dynamics cointegration. The findings reveal that usage, urbanization reduce Mexico’s factor, thereby diminishing environmental quality. In contrast, adoption sources influence globalization exhibit positive effects over long short term. These outcomes remain consistent even when compared with alternative estimation techniques, including dynamic ordinary least squares (DOLS), fully modified (FMOLS), canonical cointegrating regression (CCR). As priority, Mexican policymakers should accelerate transition sources, encourage sustainable urban development, foster more ecologically conscious agenda. Furthermore, promoting greener technologies can enhance mitigate degradation. Ultimately, Mexico establish an environment conducive expanding investments encouraging cross-border investments, enabling global trade services, cultivating greater integration capital markets.

This study examines the short-term and long-term effects of various important determinants such as financial inclusion (FI), information communication technology (ICT), renewable energy (RE), globalization (GOB), economic growth (EG) on CO2 emissions in top 10 emitter countries OBOR region based collected data for years 2004 to 2019. employed CS-ARDL technique. Findings demonstrate a strong relationship between FI, ICT, both short-term. Renewable sources have been found emission reduction effect, long short term. In run, there is negative connection emissions; however, this inconsequential, while has positive association with emission. The development ICT infrastructure carries potential directly mitigate detrimental also playing an role raising people’s environmental consciousness. should welcome encourage clean green foreign investment that provides technical skills, development, carbon-free processes.

Recent Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) reports have highlighted the inadequacy of environmental sustainability efforts. Thus, it is clear that current efforts towards (SDG 13) and affordable clean energy 7) policies are insufficient a comprehensive policy agenda needed. Existing literature limitedly addresses determinants but relatively ignores impact nuclear research development investments (NCI) green environment on quality. Climate change is gradually rising to a level that portends an existential threat humanity. Nevertheless, environmental modellers, particularly in South Africa, still rely on restrictive quality metrics for policy insights. Here, comprehensive metric (load capacity factor [LCF]) captures both the demand and supply sides of qualities was activated. With dataset (1970–2018), estimates autoregressive distributive lag quantile-ARDL underscored varied effects selected factors LCF. It unravelled green-technology significantly improved LCF only at upper quantile but remained ineffective afterwards. Notably, substantially some quantiles following transition clean energy. Resource rents promoted partially middle towards lower distributions. Economic growth within quantiles, whereas it minimised quantiles. We have provided relevant insights therein.

The study investigates the relationship between technological innovation, clean energy, trade openness, and natural resource rents on environmental sustainability within BRICS + T nations. Motivated by urgent need to address escalating CO2 emissions—reaching 36.4 billion metric tons in 2022—the research aims understand how these factors influence emissions, ecological footprint, load capacity factor, its inverse, contributing Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). uses panel data from countries spanning period 1990 2022. Employing advanced econometric techniques such as Dynamic Seemingly Unrelated Regression (DSUR), Cross-Sectionally Augmented Panel Unit Root (CUP-FM, CUP-BC), nonlinear autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) models, tests Environmental Kuznets Curve (EKC) hypothesis evaluates asymmetric effects of variables. Key findings indicate that innovation consistently reduces emissions footprints, reinforcing role promoting through cleaner technologies more efficient industrial processes. Clean energy adoption has also been shown be a significant driver reducing degradation, with consistent negative while improving factor. However, openness exhibits dual effect. While it enhances use efficiency, simultaneously increases likely due heightened activity. Natural display mixed results: some cases, they exacerbate others, contribute funding eco-friendly initiatives. recommends nations prioritize investments green technologies, strengthen regulations, enhance international collaboration accelerate transition renewable energy. Policymakers should balance benefits stricter standards mitigate adverse sustainability. These integrated strategies are essential for achieving targets outlined SDGs.

Abstract Globally, most countries have shown strong commitments toward the attainment of sustainable development goals before 2023. Thus, this study focuses on analyzing such SDGs (7, 8, 10, and 13), respectively. The evaluates role played by income inequalities, export diversification, economic growth in restoring a environment India from 1970 to 2019. To achieve its objective, employed novel Fourier autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) method. Remarkably, utilizes load capacity factor (LCF) as unique indicator for environmental sustainability. LCF, which takes into account both biocapacity ecological footprint, is one complete indicators quality date. study's findings revealed long‐run relationship between LCF all explanatory variables. According ARDL results, inequality renewable energy improve quality. At same time, diversification negatively impact within short periods. Conclusion policy prescriptions are included study.
