In arid regions, irrigated agriculture is mainly dependent on groundwater. Pakistan, 73% of agricultural land directly or indirectly through Punjab (Pakistan), 1.2 million private tube wells are operating, extracting 90% the country’s Most these poorly designed due to improper site investigations and poor estimations aquifer’s hydraulic parameters. As a result, most become dry, causing considerable financial losses farmers. Hence, optimizing well-designed parameters proper soil essential. This research aims develop statistical model for estimating conductivity on-site investigation: five sites were selected in Multan seven samples collected at each location from 3, 6, 9,12,15,18, 21 m depth. For conductivity, texture, porosity, laboratory tests carried out. Finally, was developed using hydrological such as average grain size distribution (D50), uniformity coefficient (U), porosity (n). Statistically computed verified with experimentally measured empirically derived conductivity. showed closer agreement than conductivity: root mean square error (RMSE), correlation (Cc), absolute (MAE) are, respectively, equal 0.013, 0.93, 0.011.

Synthetic dyes from textile industries are designated as hazardous waste since they release heavy metals and dangerous contaminants in water that harm the environment human health. The current study was aimed at investigating (Cd, Cu, Pb, Ni, Zn, Cr, Mn) drinking seven regions of Faisalabad, Pakistan, through atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS) optical emission (OES). physicochemical quality 86.36% samples met WHO standards targeted regions, while 13.64% failed to meet criteria. index (WQI) selected calculated by integrating 11 parameters, results indicated fair quality, whereas Madina, Jinnah, Lyallpur Town showed poor with contamination Mn > Ni Pb. order for groundwater Cu Zn Cr Pb Cd. total plate count (TPC) coliform (TCC) were found within permissible range guidelines. Hence, consuming research may not present major health risks due ingested metal toxicity; however, levels Mn, might pose risks.

Stricter climate policies across the European Union are enhancing phenomenon of free riding by nonacting countries, which translates into carbon leakage and loss competitiveness. This paper investigates trade, economic environmental implications future implementation a border adjustment mechanism (CBAM) in Visegrád countries as EU member states. We exploit trade data to estimate price income elasticities for emission-intensive trade-exposed (EITE) goods imported from non-EU trading partners countries. The Water Conservation Functional Zone and Ecological Environmental Supporting (the Capital Two Zones in China), Zhangjiakou (ZJK) City, situated China, has played a key role mitigating water scarcity pressure on Beijing via delivering sustainable high-quality yield, as well conservation services aimed at maintaining the ecological functions of Zones. However, changing mechanism for both yield instigated by combined impacts human activities climate change remains poorly understood. In this study, we used Integrated Valuation Ecosystem Services Trade-offs Tools (InVEST) model to analyze changes services, revealing different land use scenarios. results showed significant forest impervious area increment, while surface decreased sharply from 1990 2020, with obvious urbanization expansion ZJK during period. Average annual 2020 were recorded 48.98 mm 2.35 mm, respectively. Precipitation emerged primary driver service changes, south generally exhibited higher than north ZJK. Results also indicate that grassland had highest an average 56.60 followed (55.66 mm) shrub (55.07 mm). Further, value (3.73 mm), (2.56 (2.37 return cropland scenario most substantial decrease yield. Findings suggest precipitation direct impact amount atmospheric input, alteration contributes regional-scale water.

Egypt has recently inaugurated a mega development project aiming to alleviate the overpopulation along Nile River and meet looming food gap. Toshka is promising area where groundwater-dependent activities are being expanded adjacent Lake Nasser. ABSTRACT Agriculture plays an important part in the overall growth and development of a nation. Concerns about agriculture continue to be recalcitrant obstacle path upward movement. Although agricultural yields are increased, however, low‐ middle‐income countries still have difficulty producing all required foods with current state technology. Smart is becoming increasingly farmers as means ensuring optimal field higher crop yield. This systematic study analysed briefly explained effects using smart techniques (SATs) from variety countries, including China, United States America, Australia, India, Philippine Islands, South Africa, Pakistan Iran, among others. Increased climatic change resulting abiotic stress other harmful on plants resulted decreased productivity under traditional practices. Stats literature shown that launching SATs has significant increase cotton–wheat rice–wheat yields, resultantly increased incomes farmers. Application SATs, satellite remote sensing, drones, machine learning image processing, monitoring, wireless sensor networks, IoT–based robotics, precision agroforestry could extremely useful developing intelligent systems underdeveloped improved plant growth, high yield food security. These technologies help by storing additional water, spraying pesticides practicing employing sensors for assessing different environmental parameters. By making efficient use these technologies, able their crops, which, turn, will contribute reduction poverty elimination insecurity.
