This study aims to examine the profound effects of digital transformation strategies encircling digitization and usage, alongside innovation management focusing on organizational, product process innovations performance Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) operating within emerging economies. Employing a quantitative research approach, data were collected from sample size 300 managers representing various SMEs across multiple sectors markets. This paper systematically and critically reviews the literature on intersection of circular economy practices (CEPs) sustainability performance (SP). We synthesize analyze extant to uncover knowledge gaps, highlight contradictory views, provide a comprehensive overview field. Following detailed database search, we selected 104 empirical studies published in peer-reviewed journals for analysis. Our review reports publication trends, top publishing journal outlets, research methodologies, contexts. outline theoretical underpinnings, identify diverse key factors that impact sustainable performance. The shows propensity most authors reuse established theories or not use theory at all, revealing need development. Furthermore, our analysis revealed R&D innovation, digital technologies, organizational capabilities/resources, stakeholder institutional pressure substantially influence CEPs - SP relationship. Research background: The innovation process is a key factor when creating and maintaining competitiveness, so the SME sector has to address special attention it. Abstract The emergence of Industry 5.0 (I5.0) underscores the importance integrating sustainability and human‐centricity into organizations. This requires combining corporate social responsibility (CSR) circular economy (CE) within sustainable supply chain management (SSCM). However, interplay between CSR, CE, SSCM remains underexplored, especially in context I5.0. Therefore, this article proposes a framework for CSR CE principles SSCM, serving as transition to is derived from comprehensive scoping review experts' input, with backdrop business legitimacy theory. It comprises several key constructs, including structure promoters, organized around four pillars representing components embracing triple bottom line dimensions. Purpose This study examines the interdependent relationships between green supply chain management (GSCM), carbon neutrality capability (CNC), digital transformation (DT) and firm performance (FP) among enterprises listed on Chinese stock market. The primary objective is to provide a scholarly examination that may help these organisations enhance their GSCM practices significantly. Design/methodology/approach Drawing data from mainland publicly firms over period 2014 2021, this posits methodically evaluates four hypotheses: (1) are positively associated with an increase in CNC; (2) have beneficial impact FP; (3) DT moderates GSCM–FP relationship (4) CNC mediates effect of FP. In order to enhance business firm performance (FP) and foster sustainability, Innovative Corporate Social Responsibility (ICSR), characterized by CSR driven innovation, is currently under development implementation in Supply Chain Management (SCM). The aim of this study investigate the trend ICSR SCM its effects on FP across economic, social, environmental, competitive dimensions. A systematic review revealed a consistent upward incidence ICSR. Green Innovation (GI), Logistics (LI), Sustainable Business Model (SBMI) emerge as three most frequently employed ICSRs SCM. GI utilized for procuring goods services, including new eco-friendly products that attract clients enable expand market share. Furthermore, incorporation energy-efficient production technology reduce costs. LI creating transportable objects packaging, well managing reverse logistics reducing inventory costs through zero management. Additionally, employing SBMI crafting plan can contribute enhancing quality life clients.
