The concern that over-depleting natural resources (NAT) may somehow be costly for environmental quality is a recurrent topic in empirical analysis. However, the literature has predominantly focused on studying effects of increases NAT use environment, ignoring potential non-linear interactions. current study seeks to expand previous by examining ramifications Russia, home one world's richest resource reserves. In this regard, adopting load capacity factor (LCF) as an indicator, examines how positive and negative changes affect country's well-being within framework N-ARDL model 1992–2021. This uses artificial intelligence unit root asymmetric Fourier causality approach robustness Empirical evidence suggests shocks have deleterious influence LCF, while contribute well-being. Nonetheless, long-term shock decreases LCF greater amount than it. results also demonstrate 'U-shaped' connection between income growth ecological well-being, confirming validity LCC hypothesis. Furthermore, outcomes reveal renewable energy consumption human capital upgrade quality. Therefore, Russian policymakers should focus SDG 7, 12, 13 targets, which refer substantially increasing primary secondary education, share green total mix, effective management utilization.

This study presents a comparative review of the environmental implications Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) usage in United States (USA) and Africa, examining policies that govern LNG-related concerns these regions. Recognizing global significance LNG as pivotal energy source, analysis explores distinct policy landscapes shaping its utilization two diverse contexts. In USA, where has emerged key component mix, scrutinizes federal state-level policies. includes regulations governing extraction, production, transportation LNG, with focus on mitigating emissions, preserving air water quality, ensuring ecological sustainability. The also encompasses regulatory frameworks promoting integration into broader strategy for reducing carbon footprints country. contrast, delves nuanced across multiple African nations is increasingly gaining prominence. unique challenges approaches, dynamic landscape utilization. how address specific needs nations, emphasizing sustainable practices, biodiversity conservation, community welfare. By undertaking this review, aims to highlight commonalities disparities USA Africa. Understanding variations can contribute development informed context-specific approaches challenges. Additionally, seeks identify areas potential collaboration knowledge exchange, fostering dialogue practices. Ultimately, findings aim inform policymakers, industry stakeholders, advocates, responsible aligns both regional goals.

Environmental sustainability, one of the agendas 21st century, is an essential step in transition to a low-carbon economy developing countries. The motivation this study investigate impact fossil energy research and development investments on environmental quality within framework load capacity curve hypothesis, urbanization also added model avoid omitted variable bias. To end, Augmented ARDL analysis examines relationship between economic growth ecological well-being Turkiye from 1986 2022. results empirical support accuracy hypothesis. Furthermore, it observed that renewable investments, which are main component study, improve quality. On other hand, has been found fuels reduce factor. Based study's findings, Turkish government should allocate more budget economy. Considering Turkiye's intense resource consumption, plan arrangements supported by law regarding efficiency.
