This
study

ABSTRACT
This
study
evaluates
the
direct
and
indirect
effects
of
environmental,
social,
governance
(ESG)
implementations
on
green
process
innovation
(GPCI)
social
performance
(SCP)
in
Vietnamese
manufacturing
firms,
respectively.
Exploring
moderating
role
proactive
environmental
strategy
(PES)
absorptive
capacity
(GAC)
impact
ESG
GPCI
are
next
objectives.
These
investigations
supported
by
legitimacy
theory
dynamic
capability
theory.
Through
survey
method,
data
collected
from
205
managers'
responses
were
analyzed
partial
least
squares
structural
equation
modeling.
The
results
show
important
contributions.
First,
have
a
positive
GPCI.
Second,
is
driving
force
behind
SCP.
Third,
an
influence
SCP
through

Abstract
Water
is
the
lifeblood
of
our
Earth,
and
sustainable
water
consumption
key
to
preserving
this
scarce
resource
for
future
generations
upholding
environmental
sustainability.
In
study,
we
investigate
relationship
between
knowledge
(EK),
policies
regulations
(EPR),
attitudes
toward
management
programs
(APWRMP),
perceived
quality
(PWQ),
(SC),
enriching
existing
literature
by
integrating
theoretical
framework
theory
planned
behavior
(TPB)
alongside
program
(WMP)
concepts.
This
integration
forms
a
comprehensive
model
clarifying
influences
on
SC.
Furthermore,
study
investigates
these
relationships
within
specific
context
select
regions
in
China,
addressing
geographical
gap
current
literature.
With
sample
size
(
N
=
336)
participants,
employ
partial
least
squares
structural
equation
modeling
(PLS‐SEM)

ABSTRACT
This
study
explores
the
relationship
between
executive
ownership,
minority
shareholder
protection,
and
environmental
innovation
in
China.
We
conducted
using
a
comprehensive
sample
of
A‐share
companies
listed
on
Chinese
Exchange
Market
from
2013
to
2022.
The
final
consists
29,366
observations.
results
show
that
ownership
significantly
boosts
innovation,
especially
low‐polluting
industries.
However,
its
impact
is
minimal
high‐polluting
sectors,
highlighting
necessity
external
regulatory
frameworks.
Minority
protection
positively
moderates
this
relationship,
indicating
critical
role
fostering
environmentally
beneficial
strategies.
Executive
salary
also
encourages
but
lesser
extent
than
suggesting
potential
governance
challenges
with
just
short‐term
financial
incentives.

aligning
incentives
long‐term

effective

sustainability
