Abstract This research investigates consumption‐based carbon dioxide emissions (CBE) within the Group of Seven (G7) economies from 1990 to 2022, particularly under Paris Agreement. The main focus study is on key determinants such as trade, income, renewable energy consumption, foreign direct investment, and technological innovation. aims unravel complexities underlying environmental footprint consumption. A novel aspect this its intent fill existing gaps in literature by providing a sectoral analysis exploring temporal dynamics consumption patterns these advanced industrial nations. Advanced econometric methods, specifically Cross‐Section Augmented Autoregressive Distributed Lag (CS‐ARDL), are employed enhance robustness reliability analysis. Cointegration relationships among CBE shed light short long‐term interdependencies factors. Using Mean (AMG) Common Correlated Effect (CCEMG) methods conduct checks makes models even more substantial ensures results' validity. implications far‐reaching, extending various stakeholders, including policymakers, businesses, industries, supply chain decision makers. Our identifies significant between G7 economies. findings emphasize urgency adopting strategies that promote sustainable management natural resources. As global efforts intensify address climate change, provides practical for shaping policy initiatives scale.

Abstract This study examines the intensifying threat to public health caused by increased CO 2 emissions from energy and modern urbanization. In this connection, we focused on SAARC countries 1990 2022. The explores dynamic association among urbanization, emissions, renewable energy, key indicators, namely life expectancy infant mortality. It offers nuanced insights highlighting requirement for sustainable policies meet challenges associated with urban development in economies. To achieve objectives, authors utilized panel auto regressive distributed lag assessing short‐term long‐run effects, method of moments quantile regressions check these effects across different quantiles. empirical results underscore positive impact GDP, industrialization expectancy. Conversely, exhibit a detrimental expectancy, leading towards numerous diseases both short long term. Notably, case mortality, discloses that negatively affect while CO2 positively mortality scenarios. Fully modified ordinary least squares further fortified our findings, supporting derived regressions. study's policy implications highlight imperative governments policymakers prioritize mitigating adverse non‐renewable sources. findings endorse strategic shift sources, positioning them as substitutes conventional forms such fossil fuels. Additionally, emphasis is planned facilitating improved access facilities overall health.

Pursuing green growth is crucial for Bangladesh to transition from an unsustainable economic trajectory a more sustainable and inclusive one. picked this study because of impending severe environmental threats. This intends review the present scenario various sustainability-related indicators in Bangladesh, focusing on renewable energy consumption, freshwater resources, water productivity, CO2 emissions, intensity, air pollution, natural resource rents. The World Bank database has been utilized obtain secondary time series data spanning 2000 2020. As descriptive study, cross-sectional observational research methods as well statistics figures are used elucidate data. Data demonstrate that now generates 41.16% its renewables, despite considerable variability. Regardless variation availability, averaging at 708.19 cubic meters per capita, efficient productivity remains consistent, indicating robust management system. country demonstrates relatively low carbon footprint, emitting 0.35 metric tons alongside varying intensity levels, highlighting need enhanced efficiency measures. While pervasive PM2.5 pollution poses significant health risk, Bangladesh's reliance rents underscores importance practices long-term stability. observations might assist formulation policies systems, control initiatives, conservation ecology promote sustainability objectives formulate policies.

Abstract This study investigates the connections among institutional quality (IQ), globalization, technological innovation, and environmental sustainability in China, using time‐series data from 1995 to 2022. The autoregressive distributive lag model (ARDL) Granger causality, stability, diagnostics approaches were employed for rigorous analysis. Results of ARDL test reveal that IQ innovation have a negative significant impact on carbon dioxide (CO 2 ) emissions long run. In short run, globalization has an insignificant CO emissions; other hand, IQ, foreign direct investment, economic growth significantly affect China. result causality also confirmed unidirectional running toward emissions. Furthermore, NARDL analyses supported this research's findings. suggests implementing effective regulations, improving governance, promoting transparency accountability can enhance enforcement policies. Although allowing limited short‐term planned global engagement associated with ecological goals is recommended. policy recommendations include investing research development green technologies, incentivizing companies adopt eco‐friendly practices, supporting startups focused solutions, which drive positive change

CO2 emissions are major drivers of climate change, causing global warming, extreme weather, and biodiversity loss. They disrupt ecosystems, deplete resources, threaten public health economic stability. Reducing is essential for stability sustainability. This study explores the complex relationships between factors such as transportation sector, electricity consumption, foreign direct investment (FDI), international trade, gross domestic product (GDP). The focus on small- medium-sized enterprises (SME) in Pakistan. Using time series data from 2000 to 2022. applies advanced econometric techniques, including nonlinear autoregressive distributed lag (NARDL), dynamic ordinary least squares (DOLS), fully modified (FMOLS). findings highlight that increased activities, FDI contribute higher emissions. However, can also help reduce emissions, particularly through investments green technologies. emphasizes importance transitioning renewable energy adopting sustainable practices across sectors electricity, transportation. Specifically, consumption were found significantly impact with a 10% increase activities resulting 5% rise Conversely, by approximately 3% per unit investment, largely due technology adoption. Additionally, integrating energy-efficient technologies lead 20% reduction Policymakers experts must prioritize strategies promote adoption integrate ensure long-term environmental research innovative its analysis interconnected effects transportation, By applying sophisticated methods, it highlights potential FDI, investments, mitigate damage. study, focusing Pakistan, offers insights into how growth be balanced
