Chiral nematic liquid crystals (N*-LCs) can tremendously amplify circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) signals. Doped emissive N*-LCs have been substantially explored. However, their CPL performances still need to be improved, mainly due the unsatisfying helical twisting power (HTP) of commonly used chiral fluorescent dopants. polymers (CFHPs) outstanding optical activity and performance. The present contribution reports first success in constructing by doping CFHP into (5CB, N-LCs). assembly structures effectively signals CFHP. Owing high HTP CFHP, selective reflection band N*-LC adjusted fully cover its emission band. A nearly pure with a dissymmetry factor (glum ) up -1.87 is realized at 9 wt% concentration. Taking advantage mechanism, multi-color CPL-active glum are fabricated via further adding achiral fluorophores. Also noticeably, room-temperature phosphorescence -1.57 achieved. Circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) plays a pivotal role in cutting-edge display and information technologies. Currently achieving precise color control dynamic signal regulation CPL still remains challenging due to the elusory relationship between fluorescence chirality. Inspired by natural mechanisms governing formation chiral interaction, we proposed an addition-subtraction principle theory address this issue. Three fluorene-based polymers synthesized Suzuki polycondensation with different electron-deficient monomers exhibit similar structures UV/Vis absorption, but distinct emissions intramolecular charge transfer. Abstract Colorful circularly polarized luminescence materials are desired for 3D displays, information security and asymmetric synthesis, in which single-emitted ideal owing to self-absorption avoidance, evenly entire-visible-spectrum-covered photon emission facile device fabrication. However, restricted by the synthesis of chiral broad-luminescent emitters, realization application high-performing full-color is its infancy. Here, we disclose a system (spiral generator), composed whole-vis-spectrum emissive quantum dots liquid crystals. The achieves maximum dissymmetry factor 0.8 remains an order 10 −1 visible region tuning photonic bandgap. We then expand it series customized-color luminescence, build devices further demonstrate working scenario photoinduced enantioselective polymerization. Preparation of chiral materials from achiral helical polymers has aroused great interest among researchers. In this work, small molecules were utilized to accomplish induction toward racemic polyacetylene via intermolecular π-π stacking by which films with strong optical activity fabricated. Furthermore, introducing fluorescent components generated full-color and white circularly polarized luminescence (CPL). A CPL generation mechanism is proposed accordingly, namely light excitation (CP-Ex). emission amplification the dissymmetry factor achieved under synergetic effect CP-Ex chirality transfer. The was further verified double-layered film consisting a layer layer. More noticeably, for films, sense signals can be switched changing direction light. This work opens up new strategies exploring tunable multiple- white-color materials.

The synthesis of chiral substances, especially polymers is currently one the hottest issues in field materials and chemistry due to their unique structural characteristics potential applications. Abstract Photochromic circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) demonstrates broad application prospects in the field of advanced functional materials. However, current photochromic CPL focuses predominantly on single‐band adjustment, and how to achieve dynamically tunable multi‐band is still highly challenging. This work reports success utilizing reversible photochromism for realizing full‐color emission. flexible films are created consisting triple components: spiropyran (SP) working as matter, polyurethane (PU) matrix, chiral helical polyacetylene component. Further introducing blue fluorophore 9‐anthracene carboxylic acid (ACA) film, red emitted respectively through selective absorption/transmission fluorescence energy transfer (CPF‐ET). Doping film with diverse fluorophores provides Adding Zn 2+ further intensifies via forming merocyanine (MC)‐Zn complex. Taking advantage emission, anti‐counterfeiting, secondary encryption resulting materials demonstrated.
