Debris flow is a prevalent geological disaster in Beijing, particularly the Mentougou District, situated mountainous southwestern region of Beijing City. The past irrational exploitation minerals has led to substantial accumulation slag, providing abundant loose materials for formation debris study area. Different from traditional method using hazard and vulnerability carry out risk assessment, this paper proposes assessment based on (a) possibility occurrence, (b) value disaster-affected object, (c) destructiveness flow. 41 gully flows occurring was determined through theoretical calculations. Using SFLOW model, runout potential simulated. On basis, an investigation objects carried out. At same time, according simulated movement information flow, its determined.
