The inclusion of the informal recycling sector (IRS) in a circular economy (CE) is challenging and it gaining increasing attention by academic community an exponential yet fragmented way. An actor-network theory analysis and modelling of carbon reduction policy coordination in China: A collaborative environmental governance perspective

In order to probe collaborative environmental governance (CEG) in China's "1 + N" policy framework for carbon peak and neutrality, this paper applies the Actor-network theory (ANT) as an analytical explore reduction coordination. We then model ANT's relations with evolutionary game (EGT) examine evolutionarily stable strategies CO2 emission by various actors including central government, local governments, commercial banks, polluting enterprises. Our objective is coordination key enabler governing success via ANT-based mechanism design institutional context. Combining strength of ANT a four-party EGT model, we investigate how improve mobilize actor-network promoting CEG. If it ain't broke, don't fix it: When collaborative public management becomes collaborative excess

Abstract Collaboration is a commonly prescribed method of public service improvement. If collaboration fails, blame typically ascribed to transaction costs, organizational inertia, or premature evaluation. Networking strategies for coordinating interdependent policy issues: A motif approach

Abstract Complex societal challenges, such as climate change and environmental degradation, are encumbered by numerous interdependences across different policy issues. Coordination of interdependent issues is thus critical. However, coordination challenges persist, partly because coordinating among actors often involves high costs. While network governance literature advocates for management strategies that steer the between actors, little known about what specific can stimulate emergence collaborative relationships suitable To address this gap, we develop a typology four operationalized motifs. Public Participation and the Effect of Environmental Governance in China: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis

The public plays a key role in environmental governance systems. Many studies have discussed the effects of participation on China from different perspectives. However, there has been no systematic integrated analysis and causes its heterogeneity. Going separate ways: ex-post interdependence and the dissolution of collaborative relations

Interdependence is typically regarded as the cause of inter-organizational collaboration. But it also a consequence.
