The photocatalytic activity of g-C3N4 can be enhanced by improving photoinduced carrier separation and exposing sufficient reactive sites. In this study, we synthesized B-doped porous tubular (BCNT) using a H3BO3-assisted supramolecular self-template method, wherein H3BO3 helped in B-doping, building structure, maintaining one-dimensional nanotubes. structure had an ultrathin tube wall large aspect ratio, which are conducive to the directional transmission photogenerated carriers; moreover, abundant pore could fully expose introduction B cyano group modulated bandgap elevated position conduction band, thus enhancing photoreduction ability effectively hydrogen evolution performance. Consequently, BCNT-2 (220.8, 53.2 μmol·h–1) was 1.82 1.54 times that nanosheets (CNN, 121.3, 34.6 under simulated sunlight LED lamp irradiation, respectively. Thus, work provides in-depth insights into rational design nanotubes with high visible irradiation.
