This paper focuses on the analytical modeling of albedo reflection in bifacial photovoltaic modules, with particular emphasis backside. First, we critically examine approaches proposed literature, presenting them a tutorial style and uniform nomenclature. In recent years, floating photovoltaic (FPV) systems have emerged as a promising technology for generating renewable energy using the surface of water bodies such reservoirs, lakes, and oceans. Architects play a crucial role in shaping sustainable built environments that balance utility and aesthetics without compromising ecological integrity. Hence embracing sustainability remains an urgent imperative as construction activities expand to meet Nigeria's development needs. This research examines how architects Enugu Metropolis, Nigeria are assimilating principles of within their design practices against transforming professional backdrop. The study utilized primary data targeting 126 registered architectural firms the area through questionnaire survey achieved 88.9 % response rate. Data were analyzed using JASP Pearson product moment correlation. Results revealed high conceptual awareness among architects, with 32.2 consistently applying strategies like renewable energy systems designs. Economic considerations supportive regulations emerged key assimilation motivators. However, uneven integration levels underline lingering barriers. While 40.6 rated incorporation education very good, 13.5 perceived it moderate, indicating gaps practical competencies. Statistical analysis (P-value = 0.001) showed significant positive relationship between architects' concepts implementation practices. These findings highlight need for strengthened educational programs, policy incentives, industry collaborations accelerate architecture adoption. Recommendations include updating curricula, mandating green ratings public projects, incentivizing developers, promoting interdisciplinary knowledge transfer. By addressing identified gaps, implies can lead transition while meeting local environment needs, ensuring more climate-compatible socially equitable habitat creation.

Abstract Photovoltaic (PV) installations have traditionally relied on a conventional south-facing orientation, which maximizes energy production at noon but has lower generation in the morning and afternoon. Vertical photovoltaic (VPV) systems emerged as promising alternatives to address this inconsistency. can enhance by facing east west We compared performance of n-tunnel oxide passivated contact (n-TOPCon) p-passivated emitter rear (p-PERC) cells vertical determine whether optimal installation direction bifacial photovoltaics is or west. Our findings indicated that n-TOPCon exhibited higher yields than p-PERC cells, with difference approximately 8%, attributed superior bifaciality temperature coefficient power n-TOPCon. Additionally, yield was for modules when front faced east, whereas PERC performed better west-facing front. This contributes knowledge factors optimization configurations.
