Obesity and aging are associated with an inflammatory state, which represents the common background for a wide range of diseases. This study aims to explore correlation between hsCRP, IL-1β, IL-6, TNF-α, IFN-γ, white blood cell count (WBC) adipometrics (arm, waist, hip circumferences: AC, WC, HC; total body fat mass: TBFM, visceral level: VFL, mass index: BMI; waist/hip ratio: WHR; waist/height WHtR) in young healthy adults aged 20-35 years old. The subjects were divided by BMI into overweight/obesity (OW/OB) group normal weight (NW) group, hsCRP level Group 1 (<1 mg/L), 2 (≥1-2.99 3 (≥3 mg/L). concentration all biomarkers was significantly higher OW/OB compared NW exception IL-1β. Significant positive correlations found WBC, adipometrics; IL-6 WHR, WHtR, BMI, VFL; IFN-γ HC, TBFM. IL-1β correlates positively WHR VFL. In Groups 1-3, differences showed significant differences. The pharmacological inhibition of sodium-glucose cotransporter 2 (SGLT2) has emerged as a treatment for patients with type diabetes mellitus (T2DM), cardiovascular disease and/or other metabolic disturbances, although some the mechanisms implicated in their beneficial effects are unknown. SGLT2 inhibitor (SGLT2i) empagliflozin been suggested regulator adiposity, energy metabolism, and systemic inflammation adipose tissue. aim our study was to evaluate impact 6-week-empagliflozin on lipidome visceral (VAT) subcutaneous tissue (SAT) from diabetic obese Zucker Diabetic Fatty (ZDF) rats using an untargeted metabolomics approach. We found that increases content diglycerides oxidized fatty acids (FA) VAT, while SAT, it decreases levels several lysophospholipids phosphatidylcholines. Empagliflozin also reduces expression cytokines interleukin-1 beta (IL-1β), IL-6, tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNFα), monocyte-chemotactic protein-1 (MCP-1) IL-10, Cd86 Cd163 M1 M2 macrophage markers no changes except decrease IL-1β. shows effect lipolysis increasing hormone-sensitive lipase (HSL) SAT VAT triglyceride (ATGL) together FA transporter cluster differentiation 36 (CD36). In conclusion, data highlighted differences lipidomes, inflammatory profiles lipolytic function, which suggest distinct metabolism these two white depots after treatment.

Abstract Background The association between Interdialytic home blood pressure variability (BPV) and the prognosis of patients undergoing maintenance hemodialysis (MHD) largely unknown. Hypothesis We proposed hypothesis that interdialytic BPV exert effect on cardiac all‐cause mortality among individuals MHD. Methods A total 158 receiving MHD at unit Wuhan Fourth Hospital December 2019 August 2020 were included in this prospective cohort study. Patients divided into tertiles according to systolic (SBPV), primary endpoints death. Kaplan–Meier analysis was used assess relationship long‐term survival SBPV.
