Abstract Spindle cell rhabdomyosarcoma represents a rare neoplasm characterized by monomorphic spindle cells with fascicular architecture and variable skeletal muscle differentiation. Following incidental identification of ZFP64::NCOA3 gene fusion in an unclassified sarcoma resembling adult‐type fibrosarcoma, we performed retrospective archival review identified four additional cases similar histology identical fusion. All tumors arose adult males (28–71 years). The neoplasms were found the deep soft tissues, two gluteal, one each thigh, abdominal wall, chest wall.
