Purpose The research paper assesses the anticipated risk mitigation strategies (RMS) for successfully adopting digital supply chain management (DSCM). It helps to enhance performance and achieve organizational excellence. Design/methodology/approach Risk are analyzed using fuzzy-analytic hierarchy process (F-AHP). Furthermore, sensitivity analysis is done by changing weight of RMS analyze their impact on final ranking. Findings were categorized into five categories, namely Cybersecurity Data Protection (CDP), Digitalization Organization (DO), Supply Chain Visibility Transparency (SCVT), Quality Management (DQM), Change Alliance (CMA). findings show that “developing a roadmap latest systems processes” “investing in integrating technologies streamlined data flows chain” top strategies. Practical implications results benefit industry personnel practitioners considering DSCM adoption. Prioritization will help understand its relative importance, thereby facilitating focus more critical aspects. Therefore, organizations can adopt these agility, responsiveness overall business performance. Originality/value This contributes field employing F-AHP method evaluate RMS. Considering uncertainties ambiguities, incorporating fuzzy logic adds originality robustness assessment process. study’s prioritization context novelty existing body knowledge.

Purpose This study aims to explore how bundling knowledge resources (i.e. integration mechanisms [KIMs]) and digital big data-powered artificial intelligence [BDAI]) can enhance supply chain visibility (SCV) capabilities for implementing just-in-case (JIC) practices. Design/methodology/approach Analysis of survey data from Chinese manufacturers was conducted test the proposed hypotheses. Findings The results reveal a significant positive effect KIMs on BDAI, as well effects both BDAI SCV. Furthermore, suggest that SCV partially mediates KIMs–JIC relationship fully BDAI–JIC relationship. Originality/value advances SC inventory management literature by proposing empirically testing JIC model explores bundle into managing in uncertain times.
