Purpose This paper aims to examine the Islamic marketing literature uncover potential customer adoption behaviours and enhance effectiveness of blockchain-based halal logistics services in catering demands. The findings this provide substantial contributions realms both literature, delineating future paths for research. Design/methodology/approach uses a systematic review incorporating bibliometric analysis past contemporary research topics, selecting appraising while analysing consolidating data. This study examines the effects of implementing sustainable strategies in operations on abnormal stock returns companies listed Vietnamese market under uncertain conditions, using an event and difference-in-differences analysis. Daily trading data were obtained from 107 2 January 2020 to 31 March (~6313 observations included sampling). Of these, 41/107 (38.3%) 66/107 (61.7%) did not implement sustainability their operations, respectively. The feasible generalized least-squares regression model indicated a positive impact implementation during COVID-19 pandemic (p < 0.01 context pandemic). results underline as critical tool mitigate damage enhance resilience, achieve long-term competitive advantages.
