Thyroid cancer (TC) being the common endocrine malignancy is glooming steadily due to its poor prognosis. The treatment strategies of surgery, radiotherapy, and conventional chemotherapy are providing unsatisfactory output. However, combination therapy can negotiate worse prognosis better, where chemoradiotherapy, radiotherapy with or dual chemotherapeutic drugs glorified. Chemotherapy includes use doxorubicin taxanes generally platinum-based viz. cisplatin carboplatin that administered alone along multitarget tyrosine kinase inhibitors Lenvatinib, Sorafenib, Sunitinib, Vandetanib, Pyrazolo-pyrimidine compounds, etc., single target like Dabrafenib plus Trametinib Vemurafenib against BRAF, Gefitinib EGFR, Everolimus mTOR, vascular disruptors Fosbretabulin, immunotherapy Spartalizumab Pembrolizumab, anti-PD-1/PD-L1 molecules. Hence, several trials currently evaluating possible beneficial role combinatorial in TC. Since TC outcome multiple genetic alterations, it necessitates targeting factors a shot. These for systemically delivering therapeutic seem feasible only help theranostic. To date, nanoparticle-based drug delivery systems (NDDS) have devoted themselves diagnosis, bioimaging, imaging-assisted high success rates. ease handling hybrid technologies also selectively admirable. this review, we summarized sequential progression NDDS designed Personalized Medicine (PM) medicine an ever-growing field will be explored future discoveries biomedicine, particularly theranostics. our review presents closer view as personalized We discussed primary challenges facing meeting excellence PM.
