هدف البحث الحالي الى الكشف عن العلاقات الارتباطية بين ادمان الانترنت والخوف من كورونا والسايبركندريا خلال التوصل النموذج السببي الأمثل للعلاقات الخوف و السايبركندريا إدمان لدى طلاب الجامعة . وتكونت عينة الدراسة 438 طالب طالبة جامعة الطائف بالسعودية تنوعت إلى 21 ذكر 417أنثى بمتوسط عمر 21,70 وانحراف معياري 5,15 , وتم تطبيق مقياس الصيغة المختصرة لمقياس لـ Young’s Internet Addiction جائحة (Ahorsu et al. (2020 كذلك المختصر McElroy al., 2019 ) وتوصلت النتائج وجود علاقات ارتباطية موجبة ودالة إحصائيا وكلا الجائحة وإدمان الهواتف الذكية, تأثير مباشر موجب والسايكوكندريا االسايبركندريا كورونا.كما لايوجد على كورونا.

This research was conducted to examine the effect of internet addiction on cyberchondria. The is important understand how today's digital technologies contribute health-related concerns and affect individuals' perceptions health. Quantitative design used in this Konya, a metropolitan city Turkey. study using convenience sampling method 403 participants. In research, 'Personal Information Form', 'Internet Addiction Scale' 'Cyberchondria were used. data analyzed with SPSS program. As an analysis method, upon determining that normally distributed, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation simple linear regression analyzes applied independent groups. majority participants (69%) female, 52.9% between ages 18–27 53.8% married. terms education level, 44.9% had bachelor's degree or higher, 59.6% earned minimum wage less. Among occupational groups, largest proportion students (31.5%), their daily use mostly 2–3 hours (44.4%). Internet most frequently for social media (47.4%) news/agenda follow-up (25.1%). Within scope varies significantly according participants' age levels, professions, average usage time, purposes; it found cyberchondria levels showed significant differences variables income profession, time purpose. revealed positive relationship level It has also been observed These results show tendencies become stronger increase among individuals.

Minimal research has delved into the latent categories of cyberchondria among undergraduate nursing students and its correlation with eHealth literacy health anxiety. In this study, convenience sampling was employed to conduct a survey 713 utilizing General Information Survey Form, Chinese Version Brief Cyberchondria Scale, eHEALS Health Anxiety Inventory, yielding 692 valid responses. Through profile analysis, categorized three distinct profiles: 'Low Search-Low Disturbance Group' (12.3%), 'High (41.3%), Search-High (46.4%). Key determinants influencing these profiles were identified as gender, decision-making capability, fear becoming ill, negative consequences associated illness (p < 0.05). The study unveils that levels are significantly high students, influenced by various factors. Strategic interventions encompassing cognitive, emotional, social dimensions suggested decrease prevalence within demographic.

Background: Cyberchondria is a phenomenon described as an excessive search on the Internet for health-related information driven by anxiety or distress, which only amplifies such. Due to their increased usage of and exposure Internet, young adults are especially vulnerable such phenomena. Aim study: The purpose following review was gather existing knowledge in area cyberchondria students, systemize current state knowledge, identify possible new research areas. Material methods: literature conducted using Pubmed, Web Science, Scopus, EBSCO databases retrieve publications up October 7, 2023. An additional performed May 25, 2024, relevant works. selection conditions were met 35 articles analyzed demographics relationship with mental aspects. Results: Most studies indicated moderate level participants. correlated somatic psychological problems. Those who experienced presented higher health stress levels. Conclusions: seemed be related anxiety, stress, need reassurance. evolution problem unknown due lack longitudinal studies. Such may provide better understanding phenomena support individuals.

CONTEXT: With the digital revolution, Internet has become a source of health-related searches. Cyberchondria is behavioral disorder where repeated online searches result in health anxiety. AIMS: The aim study was to assess prevalence cyberchondria among undergraduate degree college students. SETTINGS AND DESIGN: This cross-sectional conducted BSc Computer Science students at Sri Sathya Sai Baba Degree College, Anantapuramu, Andhra Pradesh, during July 2022. SUBJECTS METHODS: A sample size 160 arrived using formula 4 pq / l 2 with ( P ) as 55.6%, allowable error (l) 15% , 10% nonresponse rate. Out 220 students, were selected by simple random sampling method. Data collected through self-administered Severity Scale-12 questionnaire Likert scale scoring 0–4. STATISTICAL ANALYSIS USED: K-means cluster analysis performed and people risk develop cyberchondria. RESULTS: involved 57% females 43% males. 22.5% excessiveness (mean ± standard deviation [SD]: 3.36 2.091) being dominant construct followed distress, compulsion, reassurance (Mean SD: 2.48 2.493). CONCLUSIONS: indicates that an emerging problem emphasis be laid on education regarding reliability information.
