Background/Objectives: The number of chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients is increasing in Japan, and this population at high risk death from cardiovascular cerebrovascular diseases. Therefore, prevention arteriosclerosis as a common underlying cause these diseases required. In study, we examined whether 11/19-B1 yogurt, which has been proven to reduce serum low-density lipoprotein (LDL) levels, can decrease the levels indoxylsulfate trimethylamine-N-oxide (TMAO), are produced by intestinal microbiota known arteriosclerosis, through improving dysbiosis hemodialysis patients. Methods: Nineteen dialysis consumed 50 g yogurt daily for 8 weeks, changes lipid profile uremic toxin microbiome, well frequency bowel movement stool characteristics were observed. Results: results demonstrated that an intake decreased LDL 99.3 88.5 (p = 0.049) seven nine subjects with previously concentrations, improved estimated Bristle score, although HDL no beneficial effect on TMAO was Conclusions: These may suggest ingestion provides preventative against progression atherosclerosis renal dysfunction.

A promising strategy to improve the gut microbiome in hypertension is target microbiota. This study evaluated effects of a potential nutraceutical product composed three strains Limosilactobacillus (L.) fermentum, quercetin, and resveratrol on intestinal healthy hypertensive subjects. The consisting L. fermentum 139, 263 296, fructooligosaccharides (200 mg), quercetin (160 (150 mg) (LfQR) was added vitro fecal fermentation process occurring for 48 h. Fecal samples subjects were allocated into four groups: (i) controls (CTL); (ii) with addition LfQR (CTL + LfQR); (iii) (HTN) subjects; (iv) (HTN LfQR). diversity composition microbiota production microbial metabolites evaluated. CTL HTN groups exhibited distinct composition, as shown by β-diversity assessment. potentially nutraceutical-modulated similar between groups, suggesting after addition. increased relative abundance Enterobacteriaceae group that Lachnospiraceae group. media showed higher levels sugars (maltose, fructose, glucose), lactic acid, ethanol, succinic acetic acid compared media. Although results are heterogeneous media, it demonstrated formulation can modulate its metabolic activity.

Probiotics play a critical role in promoting the health of both humans and animals, with growing interest potential animal-derived strains. Safety efficacy assessments are crucial, rigorous testing required to ensure absence harmful effects. The benefits probiotic strains include improved digestion, balanced microbiota, behavioral impact, reduced inflammation, minimized risk infections. animal origin show promise as complementary or alternative options antibiotics, applications veterinary human medicine. While promising, usage probiotics requires careful evaluation safety regulatory aspects. This research underscores their for across species contributing future therapeutic approaches.
