Background/Objectives:
This
study
presents
a
novel
and
comprehensive
investigation
into
the
anti-colorectal
cancer
(CRC)
effects
underlying
mechanisms
of
Eruca
sativa
(E.
sativa)
using
an
integrated
approach
combining
network
pharmacology,
molecular
docking
dynamics
simulation.
Methods:
Using
approach,
six
bioactive
compounds
40
potential
targets
were
identified.
A
compound–target
was
constructed,
enrichment
analysis
performed
to
explore
key
pathways
influenced
by
E.
sativa.
Molecular
used
evaluate
binding
interactions
between
identified
CRC-related
(AKT1,
PGR,
MMP9,
PTGS2).
Furthermore,
simulation
utilized
confirm
stability
reliability
these
interactions.
Results:
The
found
that
exhibits
strong
anticancer
potential,
particularly
through
major
such
as
β-ionone,
1-octanol,
isorhamnetin,
2-hexenal,
propionic
acid,
quercetin.
revealed
favorable
CRC
targets,
with
quercetin
isorhamnetin
showing
highest
affinities.
Additionally,
simulations
validated
interactions,
reinforcing
their
therapeutic
relevance.
Conclusions:
provides
valuable
insights
pharmacological
against
CRC,
highlighting
its
natural
agent.
These
findings
pave
way
for
future
clinical
studies
validate
efficacy
safety
compounds,
potentially
contributing
development
novel,
plant-based
strategies
treatment.
