Sexual dysfunction, particularly in females, is a complex issue influenced by various factors, including depression and inflammation. The Systemic immune-inflammation index (SII), an inflammatory biomarker, has shown associations with different health conditions, but its relationship female sexual dysfunction (FSD) remains unclear. This study aimed to investigate the association between SII FSD context of depression, utilizing low frequency as assessment indicator. Data from National Health Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) 2005 2016, involving 1042 depressed participants, were analyzed. FSD, indicated frequency, SII, derived complete blood count results, assessed. Logistic regression subgroup analyses conducted, considering demographic health-related factors. A total individuals included our analysis; 11.5163% participants categorized having which decreased higher tertiles (tertile 1, 13.8329%; tertile 2, 13.5447%; 3, 7.1839%; p for trend < 0.0001). Multivariate linear analysis showed significant negative [0.9993 (0.9987, 0.9999)]. distinctly significantly present Mexican American [0.9959 (0.9923, 0.9996)], while it does not reach statistical significance other racial categories. Furthermore, was nonlinear; using 2-segment model, we found U-shaped inflection point 2100 (1000 cells/µL). In summary, individuals, independently associated likelihood emphasizing potential role inflammation health.

Objective: The objective of this study was to explore the potential correlation between composite dietary antioxidant index (CDAI) and biological aging, addressing insufficient epidemiological evidence in area. Methods: Participants meeting eligibility criteria were selected from National Health Nutrition Examination Surveys (NHANES) conducted 2001 2018. CDAI determined based on antioxidants obtained 24-hour recalls. Biological age using PhenoAge algorithms incorporating various clinical features. Weighted multiple models employed investigate assess association age. Results: Analysis quartile revealed disparities terms age, gender, ethnicity, educational level, marital status, poverty, calories intakes, smoking, drinking BMI, physical activity, PhenoAge. After adjusting for confounding factors, a significant inverse relationship found Phenotypic Age, with each standard deviation increase score correlating 0.18-year decrease Age. These negative correlations advancement observed regardless activity smoking body mass index. Conclusions: Our findings demonstrate positive higher scores delayed aging. results have implications public health initiatives aimed at promoting healthy aging through interventions.

Abstract Background The weight-adjusted waist circumference index (WWI) is a novel obesity indicator that offers improved accuracy in assessing both muscle and fat mass compared to traditional measures. This study aimed investigate the association between WWI bone mineral density (BMD) adults. Methods Weighted multivariate logistic regression, subgroup analysis, interaction tests restricted cubic spline (RCS) curves were used explore relationship BMD based on data from National Health Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES). Results had 40,568 individuals total. At all four measurement sites, we detected negative linear correlation BMD. Even when quartile factors for created, this unfavorable connection maintained. In comparison those lowest quartile, highest percentile of showed declines lumbar 0.08 g/cm 2 femoral neck 0.03 , respectively. adverse correlation, nevertheless, differed among several categories. Conclusions Our findings suggest an US Employing as tool osteoporosis prevention general population may enhance interventions.

Even though cadmium (Cd) exposure and cellular senescence (telomere length) have been linked in previous studies, composite molecular aging biomarkers are more significant reliable factors to consider when examining the connection between metal health outcomes. The purpose of this research was assess association urinary (U-Cd) whole-body (phenotypic age).Phenotypic age calculated from chronological 9 biomarkers. Multivariate linear regression models, subgroup analysis, smoothing curve fitting were used explore nonlinear relationship U-Cd phenotypic age. Mediation analysis performed mediating effect on smoking age. This study included 10,083 participants with a mean 42.24 years 42.34 years, respectively. In fully adjusted model, there positive [2.13 per 1 ng/g U-Cd, (1.67, 2.58)]. This differed by sex, age, subgroups (P for interaction < 0.05). mediated serum cotinine proportion 23.2%.Our results suggest that high levels Cd associated aging.

Abstract Background There is a strong association between cardiovascular disease (CVD) and periodontitis. This study utilized the Life Essentials 8 (LE8) score, composite measure of health (CVH), to elucidate relationship CVH Methods Data from 8,649 nationally representative participants in National Health Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) were analyzed. The independent variable our was score (a higher indicates better health), dependent presence or absence periodontitis investigated using weighted multivariable logistic regression models restricted cubic spline (RCS). We controlled for potential confounders such as age, sex, race, education, socioeconomic status minimize bias. Results negative total odds After adjusting all covariates, 10-point increase associated with 10% lower [0.90 (0.87, 0.93)]. Participants had 40% compared those CVH. Socioeconomic (education income) modified this ( P interaction < 0.05). Conclusion Our suggests that health, indicated by scores, reduced likelihood among US adults. appears be influenced status, emphasizing need targeted interventions populations status.

With the rapid increase in global population aging, incidence and mortality rates of age-related diseases are rising, becoming a worldwide issue. Therefore, researching discovering natural compounds with anti-aging properties is crucial. Social insects such as termites exhibit significant differences lifespan between reproductive non-reproductive castes. Reproductive castes exclusively fed by worker through trophallaxis, providing convenient model for discovery compounds. This thesis systematically investigates trophallactic fluid among different caste members termite Reticulitermes labralis. A total 1028 metabolites were identified fluid, seven which have been validated KEGG database to possess functions. indicates that indeed contains promote longevity. Using "fishing method", we successfully screened out potential life-extending compounds, including IDA (trans-3-indoleacrylic acid). Preliminary experimental results showed influences modulating IIS (insulin/insulin-like growth factor signaling) pathway RAS pathway. Notably, modulation does not require involvement foxoa. Our research findings suggest extended diet-related lifespan-extending effects these nutritionally regulated conserved across taxa.

Background A link between food-induced inflammation and common chronic diseases has been identified in studies. However, there was uncertainty about the influence of dietary inflammatory potential on risk kidney disease (CKD) among middle-aged older groups. Our research aimed to examine connection index (DII) CKD people aged 40 years older. Methods This study comprised ten cycles National Health Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) from 1999 2018. Linear associations DII with CKD, low-eGFR, albuminuria were examined using multiple logistic regression, whereas non-linear assessed by smoothed curve fitting. Besides, we conducted subgroup analyses interaction tests. Results Of 23,175 individuals, a total 5,847 suffered making up 25.23% all participants. After adjustment for covariates, found that increased scores positive an hazard (OR = 1.08, 95% CI: 1.05, 1.10, p < 0.0001), same shown low-eGFR 1.16, 1.13, 1.19, 0.0001). further converting into categorical variables, above relationship still existed. These relations consistent different ages, genders, BMI, whether smoking, suffering hypertension, diabetes, no significant stratification differences (all P >0.05). Surprisingly, did not find statistically correlation after complete covariates 1.02, 1.00, 0.0742). Even when considered as variable, this relation significant. Furthermore, association shape U fully adjusted model, turning point at 1.6. Conclusion findings indicated persons greater levels had significantly higher CKD.
