Abstract
This
paper
explores
the
actual
and
potential
contributions
of
community‐led
initiatives
(CLIs)
to
Sustainable
Development
Goals
(SDGs).
As
examples
self‐determined
practical
action
for
sustainability
social
justice,
CLIs
prefigure
many
intended
outcomes
SDGs.
Existing
evidence
shows
that
are
already
contributing,
at
local
scale,
almost
all
SDGs,
achieving
particular
success
in
bringing
different
goals
into
synergy.
However,
these
achievements
based
on
ethics,
guiding
philosophies,
issue
framings,
ways
organising
differ
significantly
from
those
behind
formulation
delivery
Embracing
differences,
with
them
greater
plurality
ongoing
critical
self‐reflection,
would
allow
SDGs
transcend
certain
self‐limiting
contradictions,
particularly
concerning
role
economic
growth.
Such
a
shift
orientation
is
essential
if
move
reinforcing
challenging
root
causes
unsustainability
injustice.

Many
countries
lockdown
and
safety
guidelines
enforcement
due
to
Corona
Virus
Disease
of
2019
(COVID-19)
affected
the
construction
sector,
which
is
one
highest
labour-intensive
industries.
Therefore,
Nigeria's
COVID-19
scenario
may
hinder
sustainable
development
goals
projects
connected
with
sector.
Hence,
this
study
investigated
challenges
faced
during
pandemic
proffer
feasible
solutions
through
stakeholders'
perspective
direct
post-COVID-19
recovery
phase
into
a
path
for
achieving
Sustainable
Development
Goals
(SDGs)
This
was
conducted
in
sequence.
First,
face-to-face
interviews
results
from
qualitative
were
further
analysed
questionnaire
survey
within
Lagos
Abuja,
Nigeria.
Findings
suggest
management
efficiency
improvement,
companies
accelerate
rollout
adoption
digitalisation
technologies
government
support,
new
skill-building
on
tools
technologies,
should
increase
budget
infrastructure
facilities
as
part
achieve
SDGs.
In
conclusion,
outcome
paper
will
shed
light
how
collaboration
relevant
stakeholders
use
4IR
can
stir
up
attaining
SDGs
associated
sector
era.
