The association between adult IgA vasculitis and cancer: a prospective observational study

Cancer has been reported as a potential trigger for IgA vasculitis (IgAV) in adults; however, data on this topic are scarce. The aim of our study was to examine the frequency and location cancer adults with IgAV. We included 295 IgAV patients diagnosed between January 2010 June 2021 followed at secondary/tertiary rheumatology centre. episodes were recorded classified into three groups according their temporal relation IgAV: (1) prior IgAV; (2) concurrently (3) during follow-up. term associated (IgAV-CA) used cases presenting while active or within three-year period before after diagnosis.
