Abstract This review is in support of the development selective, precise, fast, and validated capillary electrophoresis (CE) methods. It follows up a similar article from 1998, Wätzig H, Degenhardt M, Kunkel A. “Strategies for electrophoresis: method validation pharmaceutical biological applications,” pointing out which fundamentals are still valid at same time showing enormous achievements last 25 years. The stereospecific analysis of chiral molecules is an important issue in many scientific fields. In separation sciences, this achieved via the formation transient diastereomeric complexes between a selector and selectand enantiomers driven by molecular interactions including electrostatic, ion‐dipole, dipole‐dipole, van der Waals or π‐π as well hydrogen halogen bonds depending on nature selectand. Nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy modeling methods are currently most frequently applied techniques to understand selector‐selectand at level draw conclusions mechanism. present short review summarizes some recent achievements for understanding recognition selectors combining with and/or spectroscopic dating 2020 early 2024. include polysaccharide derivatives, cyclodextrins, macrocyclic glycopeptides, proteins, donor‐acceptor type selectors, ion‐exchangers, crown ethers, micelles. application ionic liquids deep eutectic solvents, further also briefly addressed. A compilation all published literature has not been attempted.

Since the introduction of azoles as antifungals in 1979, they gradually gained a spotlight both medicinal and industrial fields. Other than being leading antifungal drug agents, have also been major pesticide agricultural industry. Because that, numerous amounts scientific studies conducted on using different analytical techniques. Consequently, requirement to an in-depth interpretation techniques that can successfully be employed has risen. Addressing this study reviews research azole liquid chromatography (LC) capillary electromigration (CE). Sub-techniques within these groups are considered. Studies performed with CE reviewed from year 2015, whereas LC works 2020 due large number by technique. In this work, the potential synergetic effect between deep eutectic solvents and an antibiotic chiral selector (clindamycin phosphate) for enantioseparation was investigated in capillary electrophoresis. We synthesized a series of with choline chloride as hydrogen bond acceptor three α‐hydroxyl acids ( l ‐lactic acid, ‐malic ‐tartaric acid) donors. Compared to single clindamycin phosphate separation system, significantly improved separations model drugs were observed several systems. donor, mixed‐type donors superior. The influences key parameters including type proportion organic modifier, concentrations, buffer pH detail. mechanism enhanced systems by means electroosmotic flow analysis, nuclear magnetic resonance molecular modeling. It first time that established electrophoresis, these demonstrated have good enantioseparation.
