This preregistered longitudinal study examined changes in adolescents' depressive and anxiety symptoms before during the COVID-19 pandemic using latent piece-wise growth models. It also assessed whether perceived support from conflict with mothers, fathers, siblings, best friends could explain heterogeneity these change patterns. 192 Dutch ethnic majority adolescents (Mean age 14.3 years; 68.8% female) completed online questionnaires every two weeks for a year (November 2019 to October 2020), which included pre-pandemic, lockdown, re-opening phase. During but not increased, re-opening, decreased. Heterogeneity was explained by pre-pandemic family friend conflict.

Abstract In typical times, adolescents' relationships with family members influence changing cognitive, social, and physical aspects of their development. The COVID‐19 pandemic, however, impacted the full system in ways that were unprecedented. Scholars adolescence worldwide driven to understand how changed due these dramatic societal shifts had on well‐being. This systematic review examined two research questions 189 articles published from 2020–2022: (1) How has pandemic families adolescents, including broader functioning, relationship qualities, parenting? Contextualized in the prolonged period of COVID-19-related school suspension Hong Kong, present study unravels relationships among socioeconomic status (SES), parental involvement, and learning outcomes for a matched sample 186 primary 932 secondary students their parents who participated eCitizen Education 360 survey. Three-step latent profile analysis (LPA) revealed different types involvement at home school. For sample, students' SES did not predict membership typology, but whose provided more monitoring support had highest level online self-efficacy. As student tended to have access resources. Students levels self-efficacy, acquisition digital skills, cognitive-emotional regulation, were least worried about resumption. Abstract Background The COVID-19 pandemic introduced unique stressors that posed significant threats to adolescent mental health. However, limited research has examined the impact of trauma exposure on vulnerability subsequent stressor-related health outcomes in adolescents. Furthermore, it is unclear whether there are protective factors promote resilience against negative impacts adolescents with prior exposure. This preregistered study aimed investigate difficulties adolescents, addition role factors. Methods Aims were investigated a sample 9696 (mean age 12.85 ± 0.88 years) from Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development Study. Previous studies have already revealed detrimental effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on school students’ subjective well-being (SWB). However, there is a lack examining development various facets SWB such as life satisfaction, mood well domain satisfactions regarding peers, family, or before and during among adolescents longitudinally. Furthermore, present study aims to shed further light moderators gender, age, migration background socioeconomic status. Data from N = 207 students (Grade 5 9) two German schools were assessed four measurement time points, three one after onset pandemic. Piecewise latent growth curve models with slopes conducted investigate its moderators. Health status is a key determinant of life outcomes, including economic performance, educational attainment, and social integration. However, its impact on migration preferences remains underexplored. This study investigates whether health significantly influences decisions in China, with particular focus the role capital class mobility expectations. utilizes data from China Labor Dynamics Survey (CLDS) collected between 2012 2018. To examine the perceptions of adolescent students from a public school, both sexes, living in peripheral region city São Paulo, Brazil, relation to covid-19 pandemic, with special focus on their experiences regarding education and sociability.This study is part Global Early Adolescent Study. Seven face-to-face groups were conducted adolescents between 13 16 years old (19 girls 15 boys) 2021.The experience remote teaching was frustrating for adolescents, without daily personalized monitoring teacher(s). In addition difficult or impossible access devices lack support schools, there also domestic environment, which made schooling process more difficult, especially girls, who forced take household family care tasks. Objective To determine whether self-esteem and family satisfaction predict life in university students from the Peruvian highlands. Methods A cross-sectional, predictive design study with participation of 848 both sexes (31.7% male 68.3% female) whose ages ranged 17 to 41 years old ( M = 20.31 SD 3.66). The instruments used were Rosenberg’s scale (RSE; 2000), Olson’s (FSS; 2006) Diener’s (SWLS; 1985). Results Show that proposed model had a fit χ 2 (269) 1709.6, p < 0.001, CFI 0.957, RMSEA 0.080, SRMR 0.061, evidencing positive β 0.21, 0.001) 0.57, significantly satisfaction.
