Abstract
Objectives
Music
is
helpful
to
young
people
in
healthcare
contexts,
but
less
known
about
the
acceptability
of
music-based
interventions
for
youth
living
at
home
with
chronic
pain
who
may
be
struggling
attend
school
and
participate
social
activities.
The
Songs
Love
(SOL)
foundation
a
national
nonprofit
organization
that
creates
free,
personalized,
original
songs
facing
health
challenges.

this
study
were
(1)
assess
SOL
from
perspective
receiving
song
singer-songwriters
created
songs,
(2)
explore
role
music
more
generally
lives
pain.
Methods
Twenty-three
participated.
Fifteen

interviewed
