Purpose: Late-onset depression (LOD) with poor treatment response has high incidence and mortality in the China's aged people, this study aims to explore correlation between health-promoting lifestyle, meaning life, interleukin-6 (IL-6) LOD for providing scientific basis of prevention rehabilitation. Patients Methods: A total 496 patients (study group) healthy older adults (control were enrolled investigated by using Health-promoting lifestyle Profile-II, revised (HPLP-IIR), Meaning Life Questionnaire-Chinese Version (MLQ-C), Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD). The circulating blood was detected utilizing ELISA kit. Results: results showed that scores all factors HPLP-IIR MLQ significantly lower IL-6 level higher group than control group. Scores most negatively positively correlated subscales HAMD score. life partially mediated relationship lifestyles severity group, mediating effect explains 15.76% 22.64% effect, respectively. Conclusion: lifestyles, are predictors LOD, an unhealthy could induce through adults. Keywords: late-onset depression, adult

BACKGROUND: Although college life can be fulfilling, it stressful, particularly for health professional students. In addition, they may have had Adverse Childhood Experience (ACE) that increases their sensitivity to academic stress. Yet, students need overcome challenges become successful professionals. The literature suggests the following factors associated with resilience: ACE and stress as antecedents; ego-resilience, emotion regulation, resources, social support, inflammatory markers, genes defining attributes; mental sense of coherence (SOC) consequences. AIMS: purpose is identify relationships among resilience using network analysis. METHODS: A total 70 participated in this cross-sectional pilot study. They completed measures psychosocial variables provided saliva samples, which were analyzed Serotonin Transporter-Linked Promoter Region (5-HTTLPR)/rs25531 markers. Mixed graphical models including all estimated R-package mgm. RESULTS: Network analysis revealed positive associations between (1) SOC; (2) resources; (3) support; (4) SOC reappraisal regulation; (5) resources (6) support. negatively associated. Furthermore, short variant 5-HTTLPR/rs25531 was stronger suppression regulation fewer compared long variant. CONCLUSION: Resilience influenced by biopsychosocial factors, notably 5-HTTLPR/rs25531. However, longitudinal research needed a larger sample size better understand how these other affect resilience.
